(1.前面是一般现在时(表示现在的习惯,喜好,自然规律等,一般现在时第三人称单数时动词要加s/es,e.g. He usually come s/go es to school on foot.)2.后面用了转折but(但是) 后面加了now(此刻,现在)表示正在进行的动作,所以用现在进行时:主语+系动词(is/am/are)+动词的ing形式+其他.故判断一般现在时态还是现在进行时的方法是:1.有频率副词always,usually,often,sometimes,never时一定是一般现在时的结构:主语+谓语动词(如果主语是第三人称单数要加s(只有x,s,ch,sh,o结尾的需要加es,其他都加s))+宾语.2.如果没有频率副词,那么看一下有没有now,有没有is/am/are,如果没有证明是一般现在时的结构:主语+谓语动词(主语是第三人称单数动词就加s/es)+宾语.3.句子中有now,就是现在进行时:主语+系动词(is/am/are)+动词的ing形式+其他,注:不要忘记加系动词。
