The weather turns／gets／becomes cold in winter．

3)go通常强调由好变坏。

go wrong／bad／mad

4)表示颜色时，可用god, turn。

Leaves go／turn green in spring．

4．shine brightly：

The Sun is shining brightly．

blow strongly：

The wind is blowing strongly．

rain／snow heavily／hard:

It is raining heavily．／It is snowing hard．

5．in／to／on the north／south／east／west of……在……的北边／南边／东边／西边

Shenzhen lies in the south of China．(Shenzhen is in China．)

Shenzhen lies on／to the south of Guangzhou．(Shenzhen is next to Guangzhou．)

Shenzhen lies to the south of Hunan．(Shenzhen is outside Hunan．)

go+doing：

四、Key grammar：·

A．形容词作定语，放在名词前。

This is a beautiful flower．

B．形容词作表语，放在连系动词后。

1．be

The old man is ill．

2．感官类：

look(看起来)，sound(听起来)，smell(闻起来)，taste(尝起来)，seem(好像；似乎)，feel(摸起来)

The ice cream looks nice and tastes delicious．

3．变得类：become，get，turn，go

The boy becomes tall and strong．

The fish has gone bad．It smells awful．

注意：有些形容词只能作表语，不能作定语。如：alive，awake，afraid，asleep，alone，well…

Be quiet．The baby is asleep．

There are some sleeping babies in the room．(不能说成some asleep babies)

The girl is well．

C．形容词和动词不定式连用：It is+adj．+to do sth．

It is important to learn English well．

It is wonderful to fly kites in the park in spring．

D．形容词作宾语补足语，放在make，keep，find，think等动词的宾语后面。

We should try our best to make Shenzhen more beautiful．

Please keep your bedroom clean and tidy．

E．常见的几个表示天气的形容词，通常是在相应名词后加-Y构成。

wind(n．)一windy(adj．) rain(n．)一rainy(adj．)

cloud(n．)一cloudy(adj．) snow(n．)一snowy(adj．)
