The most importantly they help Simba to release from depression and self-condemning, and their friendship makes Simba live happily and warmly there. Third: Trouble will make you stronger. When you

confronted with a trouble, it will defeat you or defeated by you. If you want to be a winner, you need to foster a strong willpower, it will help you a lot. Like the Simba in the movie, he never surrender to the obstruct. But become stronger after his experience.

I Believe that most of whom have seen the movie will be moved by this scene: Mufasa runs to the gorge and saves Simba from being trampled to death by the stampeding wildebeests, he leaps and dodges, comes close to Simba, holds him in mouth and puts his son in a safer place. But when he claws himself up the steep cliff side and tries to get on, he is pushed back down into the gorge by Scar and died.
