Steve Jobs: A Biography

I read the second book in this school term is called 《Steve Jobs: A Biography》. I decided to read this book is all because I love the apple company and their productions. I really wanted to know something about its creator, a legend in our world ---Steve Jobs.

In fact, at first I only thought Steve Jobs is just a normal CEO in the world that had a lot of money. However , after he died in October 5th 2011, the people come from all over the world seem to be very sad at that moment. I am so surprise how great he was. After reading some parts of this book I realized that not only the Apple lost a visionary and creative genius but also the world did. The people has lost an amazing human being.

Steve Jobs, as a product of American education, he is an individual heroism. He always and only take care of himself. He like a person that live without anybody . He also believe "no innovation would be tantamount to the death" and use its life to in hot pursuit it . Today when Apple has a new production, all over the world will become crazy and happy because they can have a fashion phone or computer finally. The success of the Apple is all owe to Steve Jobs. He put his spirit into his company and spare no efforts to protect her

no mater what the Apple did to him.

In Steve’s whole life, he experience not only the success but also many failures. He once went out of the Apple and built a new company that called NeXT. Nevertheless it did not give the chance to the poor Steve to prove himself but only let him knew something what the world is. Then he bought the Pixar which in the early days was almost abandoned by Disney. In this very difficult time Steve Jobs let us know how important the perseverance is. He never wanted to give up but only to keep doing something to change the serious situation. And everything changed in the end. In 1996, after unsuccessful efforts to develop next-generation operating systems, Apple, with Gilbert Amelio now in command, acquired NeXT for $430 million. The next year, Jobs returned to Apple as an adviser. He became chief executive again in 2000. He came back to the Apple and rescue it. The world also changed because of the ipad, iphone, iMac and ipod. The Apple became the most fashionable and successful company in the 21 century again.

Steve Jobs was neither a hardware engineer nor a software programmer, nor did he think of himself as a manager. He considered himself a technology leader, choosing the best people possible, encouraging and prodding them, and making the final call on product design. If he had a motto, it may have come from “The
