Dear host family,

Warm greetings from my heart!

I’m **, a 28-year-old girl. You can also call me Grace. I come from**, China and now study in ** University which locates in **China. My major is Urban Planning and now I’m a sophomore.

My friends and parents all think I am an active, optimistic and outgoing girl. I find myself always being full of energy and be willing to give a hand to others.

I grow up in **, where is well-known for her mountainous terrain and hot w eather. I’m from a nuclear family—father, mother and me. My father, I guess, is a humorous and wise man. He is good at making our life interesting. When I was a little girl, he often took me to capture dragonflies and grasshoppers and spent much time visiting zoos and museums with me. As for my mother, I think she is so gentle whom I have never ever met before. She is a teacher, teaching math and music at a primary school.

Before this exciting journey ahead, I’ve never gone ab road. However, I have set foot in some cities and towns in China such as **. I’ve visited the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Giant Stone Buddha at Leshan Mountain, Jiuzhaigou Valley, Spouting Spring and so on. And this time, I am going to USA, a different and diverse country. I want to practice my oral English.
