Step 1 Pre-Christmas Party

1. Listen and guess: Jingle bells

(1) T: What holiday is the song about?

(2) T: How to greet others at Christmas?

2. Introduce a puppet friend to the students.

T: We’ll have a Christmas Party and I invite a new friend.

(1) T’s Introduction: Hello, I’m Jenny. Look at my puppet.

(PPT呈现puppet的信息表)

(2) Say something about my puppet and fill in the blanks.

S: Her name is Angel. Her T-shirt is blue and her skirt is

yellow. She’s pretty.

3. Show students’ puppet friends:

T: If you want to be the Party Queen or King, please finish two tasks below.

(1) Task A: Finish the table on P56

(2) Task B: Talk about your puppets.

S: Hello, I’m Lucy. I’m a pretty girl. Look at my dress. It’s colorful. It’s nice.

Step 2 While-Christmas Party

Step 3 After-Christmas Party

1. T: After the party, where do you want to go with your

puppets? Discuss in four.

2.Choose a scene and perform a puppet show in groups.
