S: Hey,guys! Since we are university students now, you must sure have your own dreams,right? How about sharing with us? What's your dream? Derek?

D: How time flies! I'm already 20 years old now. I still remenber that when I was

a child, i wanted to be a musican in one day!

S: Wow! Really? Musican? It's a great dream! Why do you wanted to be a musican?

D: I learned to play trumpet when I was grade 4. And I played the trumpt in an

orchestra and got a second prize.What's more, I was the leader of the whole orchestra.

That's why I loved classical music and wanted to be a musican. Mattias Hofs,my

favourite trompete,has a great effect on me. But afterwards, I gave up this dream.

E: Why?

D: I gave up playing the trumpet when I entranced into junior school because of

my family. So my dream gone with it. But I learned drawing afer that. And I study

Visual Communication Design now. So my present dream is to be a designer in the

future.

E: Designer? Great! It's related to your major. But I am a little confused about

your reaction when you heared that you couldn't play trumpet anymore. And do you

really like drawing?

D: Of course I was sad at that time. I was really heart broken. At the beginning,actually I hated drawing. However, my parents and teachers encouraged

me constantlly. And then, my drawing became better and better,and I loved drawing gradually. So I decided to choose Visual Communication Design as my major.

S: If you become a designer in the future,what kind of things do you want to design?

D:I think Visual Communication Design is and interesting and creative major,and

I just enjoy in it. I won't design the stereotypical things. I am such a person

that I just do whatever I like.

S: It sounds really cool! I hope you can achieve your success one day! Follow your

heart and just do it!

E: Me,too. Fighting!

D: Thank you guys. And how about you?

S: Yeah, like you, I also changed my dreams many times. I once wanted to be a reporter because I liked writing. However,when I chose TCFL(Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language) as my major in Shenzhen University, I determined to be a TCFL teacher!

I have great responsibility to spread our Chinese culture all over the world.

E: TCFL teacher,a great occupation ! I really appreciate teachers because they circulate their knowledges to their students. I guess it must be funny during the course of teaching the foreigners,right?

S: Yes! I think I am a child when I teach them. They have a strong thirst for knowledges,and you have to teache them with your full heart.When they learn, you also learn something too.

D: Sharlene is quite right. How about you,Edward?

E：Everyone has a dream, of course so do I.But my dream is a little different from you guys.^^ I want to be a epicure and traveller. You know I like eating and travelling. If these two kind of things combined together, nothing better than it! Eat,travel,love,those are my wishes and my dreams.

S: Sounds sweet! I like it.

D: If I were a girl, I think I will fall in love to you. ^^ Wish our dreams all can become true in the future! Maybe several years later, Sharlene is a teacher, Edward is a traveller,and I,am a designer!
