2013年高考英语新课标全国卷II完形填空题评析完形填空旨在考查考生在一定语境下准确运用语言的综合能力。它集阅读理解能力与语言运用能力的考查于一体,考查考生在阅读理解基础上,在一定语言情景下灵活运用词汇的能力。它首先要求考生具备较强的阅读能力,具备能根据短文所给线索,捕捉相关信息,进行分析判断、逻辑推理的能力,它还要求考生能熟练运用所学词汇、语法、习惯用语等语言知识进行填词,考查使用语言的准确性,是高考试卷中难度较高的一个题型,也是最能拉开考生得分档次的一个题型。

完形填空题的特点是篇幅小,起点高,容量大。按一般命题的要求该题所采用的短文一般不给出标题,文章首句往往不设空。2013年高考英语新课标全国卷II的完形填空保持了往年以记叙为主、夹叙夹议的风格,全面客观地考查了考生将语言知识融进具体的语言情景中,并对文章整体进行把握,感知作者的情感的能力。文章主要内容是介绍一位名叫Michael Greenberg的纽约人在冬天的时候会为穷人发手套,并因此为人熟知。文章整体难度不大。前两段引入人物的介绍,其次叙述了他具体是如何帮助穷人、为他们送手套的,最后交待了他这么做是因为受到家庭的影响,他相信帮助穷人自己也会感受到快乐。

全文共206个单词,平均挖空间距为9个词,最大间距17个词,最小间距4个词。试题的考查点分布如下:名词5题,动词6题,形容词4题,短语5题。根据这些数据我们不难看出,该篇完形填空的考查点全部是实词,其中名词和动词居多,另外今年的完形填空还有一个特点,就是突出了对动词短语的考查。总的来讲,2013年的完形填空命题是科学的,涉及到语篇层次和段落层次的题目较多,根据前后文语境或行文逻辑作出判断的题目也不少,充分体现了“突出语篇”的命题要求。但也存在一些不足,比如对副词考查的题目偏少。
