Shakespeare did not confine his genius merely to the theater. In 1593 and 1594, he published two narative poems, Venus and Adonis and The Rape of Lucrece , both of which were dedicated to the Earl of Southampton. Romeo and Juliet is a pure tragedy of youth told in verse that is both youthful and intense. The loveliness and the music of the poetry make believable the otherwise commonplace afflictions of blighted love. The beautiful personification of some of the main characters has caused Romeo, Juliet, Mercutio and the Nurse to become part of the world's literary mythology.

简介莎士比亚英文作文英文:Shakespeare is one of the most famous playwrights in history. He is known for his works such as Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, and Macbeth. His plays are still performed all over the world today, and his writing style has influenced countless other writers. One of the things that makes Shakespeare's writing so unique is his use of language. He was a master of wordplay and often used puns and double entendres in his works. For example, in Romeo and Juliet, the line "O brawling love, O loving hate" is a play on words that shows the conflicting emotions of the characters.Another aspect of Shakespeare's writing that sets him apart is his ability to capture the human experience. His characters are complex and their struggles are relatable, even centuries after they were written. For example, inHamlet, the titular character's struggle with grief and revenge is something that many people can understand.Overall, Shakespeare's impact on literature and culture is undeniable. His works continue to be studied and performed, and his influence can be seen in countless other works of art.中文:莎士比亚是历史上最著名的剧作家之一。
