Baotou
Baotou lies in the center of Inner Mongolia, some 140km/87mi west of Hohhot, the regional capital, on the north bank of Yellow river. Baotou, derived from the Mongolian" Bao Ke of Mongolia", meaning " deer " in place, so it is also called Lucheng.

50 km south of Baotou. Sand dune that emits sounds when someone rides down the side or the wind blows across.

The right one is the city flower, dahlia hybrida. It means Baotou citizens are energetic, diligent and brave.

Travel in Baotou
Baotou is the largest city in Inner Mongolia, it used to be an arid region inhabited by Mongolian herders and their sheep. There also has many special places of interest.
Study in Campus
Students have their lectures in the teaching building. Different majors have different schedules. After class, some students prefer to go to library while some others would like to stay at classroom to study. Study in college is not as easy as study in high school, because in high school teachers give all assignments to us , we know exactly what we should do. But in college, study is our own business.

Baotou Teachers’ College was established in 1947. It is located in one beautiful city in Inner Mongolia --- Baotou, which is also named Deer City. The area of the campus is about 200,000 square meters. There are 16 departments in total and 10411 students in college. As for facilities, we have library, teaching buildings , gym, assembly hall, laboratory building and so on.
