this spring, most parts in the southwest of china are short of water. it is difficult for more than 20,000,000 people to drink water. the people there don't have enough clean drinking water to drink because it hasn't rained for a long time. what's worse, a great number of wild animals and plants die because of lack of water. i am so shocked that i hope people around the world can save water and protect our environment. we should take action to prevent natural disaster. now so many people in yunnan and some other provinces are in difficult. i think we should try our best to help them. we can donate bottles of drinking water to them. we can also raise money for them to help them dig more wells. in a word, let's stretch our helping hands to help those in need.

in the morning i bought many flowers with pocket money and put them in the vase. in the afternoon

i went to the market to buy vegetables and cooked a simple but delicious dinner for my family.

after supper, i gave mother the card that i made myself and said “happy mother’s day” to her.

then i told her to pay more attention to her health and not to overwork. i also promised to help her do some housework from today on. hearing the words, mother was moved to tears.

shanghai will host the 2010 world expo. the world expo has a long history but it has never been held in asia. so the 2010 world expo is an honor for all of the asians. chinese government has promised that it will be best one. and shanghai, as a host city, will have more chances to develop quickly.
