Glow-wire Tester Working Instruction

1.接通电源，固定试样，设置计时器Ta（灼热丝施加时间），Ti（试样起燃时间），Te（试样熄灭时间）。

1.Switch on and fix the sample. Then set the timer.

2.按“前行”或“返回”按键调整小车的位置，使其碰到灼热丝并且对试样有7mm的压入深度。

2.Pushthe “FOWARD” or “BACK” button to adjust the position of the fixture which should be exactly contacted with the glow wire and have a 7mm pressure depth into the sample.

3.按“加温”键，灼热丝开始升温，旋转“电流调节”旋钮，使灼热丝温度达到试验规定值，试验开始前应注意确保这一温度和加热电流至少恒定60秒时间。

灼热丝温度与电流的关系大致如下：

3.Push the “HEAT” button ,then adjust the temperature with the “CURRENT REGULATION” knob. Make sure the current and temperature should last steadily for 60 seconds before the test.

4.温度达到规定值且恒定60秒后按“前行”按键，小车带着试样右行，当灼热丝接触到试验样品时计时器自动开始计时，灼热丝压入试样的深度限制为7mm±0.5mm，当时间到达设定值后，试验结束，观察并记录实验结果。

4.Do not push the “FORWARD” button until the temperature hold for 60 seconds. The fixture takes the sample to the right and the touch the glow-wire. At the same time, the three timers start the time. The glow-wire comes into the sample with a 6.5-7.5mm depth. Whenthetimeisup，thetestisfinished. Observe the sample and take down the record.

5.试验记录完数据后按“清零”按键。打开风扇排烟，拆下试样，清洁试验箱，关闭电源。5.Push the “RESET” button after taking down the record data. Turn on the exhaust fan to eject the smoke. Remove the sample, clean the instrument and finally turn off the power.
