What is a robot?
A robot is a constructed replication of something that uses Robotics for the purpose of mimicking(模仿) something else or achieving a task. Robots can be guided by an external control device or the control may be embedded( 嵌入) within. Robots may be constructed to take on human form but most robots are machines designed to perform a task with no regard to how they look.

Military robots- help the army to avoid death in battle and beat the enemy The quadrupedal military robot Cheetah, an evolution of BigDog, was clocked as the world's fastest legged robot in 2012, beating the record set by an MIT bipedal robot in 1989. This small tactical robot named "SUGVs", it is a small unmanned ground installations, assembling cameras, audio devices and other sensors on the battlefield can be found in real-time remote explosive device (IED), and related public safety the threat. It can crawl into the stairs, and roll it difficult to enter into the human or dangerous areas.

In 1928, one of the first humanoid robots was exhibited at the annual exhibition of the Model Engineers Society in London. Invented by W. H. Richards, the robot Eric's frame consisted of an aluminum body. The robot could move its hands and head and could be controlled through remote control or voice control. In 1939, the humanoid robot known as Elektro was debuted at the 1939 New York World's Fair.
