On Feb. 17, the sentence of “Chinese National Students Bullying Case” which Chinese netizens focus on was announced. Defendant Zhai Yunyao was sentenced to 13 years in state prison, while her co-defendant Zhang Xinlei was given a six year prison sentence. • In China, most of school bullying cases are not up to the standard of the crime. Emotional bullying, verbal bullying and cyber bullying could destroy a victim's life. But the majority of those bullies are legally guiltless and they're cost free. In this situation, those bullies have convinced them they can act without punishment.

American law punish the bully severely without mercy. Western countries can’t stand verbal and physical abuse. The subject of bullying in criminal law convicted of felony in America. If it caused serious consequences, even under the age of 18, it can be used as adult criminal cases.
