英语动词的时体形式

1．英语是一种综合—分析型语言，其词汇尤其是动词有较强的形态变化能力。形态变化使英语的词汇广泛带有形态功能标志和词性标志，从而使英语语法结构显性化。汉语的词汇不具备形态变化条件，其本身不显示词性，只能靠附加助词或凭借词在句中的意义来判断，这就使汉语语法隐性化，一切尽在不言中。2．英语动词的形态变化比较繁杂，又历久不衰，形成了稳固的形态程式（时态tense、体态aspect、语态voice、情态mood），并成为英语句法的核心。
