We could not only see it as a value, it also has set many otherbasicAmerican values.Such as individual freedom, equality of opportunity, hard work and protected. As competition play such an important role in American’lives ,all the people want to be better than others, in wealth or enjoyment. So they work hard to ensure that they can continually compete against each other. A person can choose many different jobs in all over their lives, such as teachers, athletes business man and so on.But most Americans still believe that business comes closer than other institutions toencouragingcompetition and other basic values in daily practice.
From these there aspects,we can see clearlythatwhy entrepreneurs are treated as business heroes.
The Business Of American Is Business
This statement was put forwardby President Coolidgein the 1920s, this view still works today—that business institutions are at the heart of the American way of life. There are two veryimportantwords to understand the meaning of business to Americans: profit and private. Business’development is mostly depended on private individuals and the goal of operating business is to make a profit. Then a question came: how can people guarantee the profit? Americans think that competition is the major source of progress and prosperity.
Why Entrepreneurs Are Treated As Business Heroes
As time went by, nowadays we measure a countries’strengthto a large extentrely on its economic strength instead of its military force. A country’s economic strength depend on how many famous and influential companies dose it has. All the companies are created and developed by these entrepreneurs. As the society has a atmosphere that we should respect successful people, and these entrepreneurs started with very little money or power and ended up as the heads of huge companies that earned enormous fortunes, it seems that they are regarded as business heroes is right andreasonable. Next I will explore this view in there aspects.

Please usethoseworking hypothesesyou’ve knownto explore whyentrepreneurs are treated as business heroes, whyPresident Clavin Coolidge once said that the business of America was business, and whythe authors of the textbook—American Ways(Beijing: Beijing World Publishing Corporation, 2006)described:“Although most Americans admire the earning power ofentrepreneursand would probably not want to put a limit on their income, they are less generous in their view of CEOs.”(P. 123)
Firstly, entrepreneurs are respected because of the many beliefs that connect business to the wealth and the traditional values of theUnited States. Entrepreneurs often began as common people themselves, without the aid of inherited social title or inherited money, they became“self-made”millionaires. They were thus perfect examples of the American idea of equality of opportunity in action. And most entrepreneurs’success are also due to they practice the American virtues of self-reliance and hard work. All these“equality of opportunity”“self-reliance”and“hard work”are part of American values and beliefs. It means that these beliefspracticedwell in these entrepreneurs. So people respect them.
The Most Important Part Of American Daily life---American business
Americais the most powerful country in the world now, not only because its military force, but also for that its business and business model sweeps all over the world. As most people live rely on their jobs, we can say that business has played the most important role in American’s daily life. Business is not only for people to exchange, it has formed a special culture and affects American lives deeply.
Thirdly, many Americans are still willing to take the financial risk that is necessary to start their own small business. You know, when people want to do something, who has done this before and verysuccessfulwould be admired and seemed as heroes in these new comers’eyes. On the other hand, people or entrepreneurs who owned small business created a large scale of jobs to the society, so they should be respected by many common people.
Secondly, many Americans are still inspired bytheidea of earning wealth and success as entrepreneurs who“make it on their own”. Entrepreneurs who conduct their business and their lives without taking orders from anyone above them are thought to be admired. Americans appreciate and admire the people who can say“I am my own boss”.
