Teaching Design
Warming Up:
Get students to answer the following questions and let them show their opinions about listening. Then comes to the point—do some research and find out the rules in listening test.
1.How to improve your English listening?
2.How to find out the rules in listening test?
Research Activities:
Divide the whole class into eight groups and let them do some research about the given listening text and finish the task.

时间计算的比较多,时间计算类听力题,时间表达的多种方式大家一定要练习到脱口而出。
大家要熟悉数字表达。
数字计算类听力分两种。
一种是直接型。
另一种是计算型。
直接型多用辨音或一些无用信息干扰。
提示,听录音前迅速浏览题干和选项,只有看清题目问的是什么,才能有目的地去听。
计算型首先要听清楚对话中的数字,在此基础上,着重去捕捉那些与计算相关的关键词。

分析结论:
如果是价格,数量等数字计算题则多用以下关键词。
Double, half, score, dozen, twice,
有时还会出现14,40,44,等辨音题。
数字计算类听力分两种。
一种是直接型。
另一种是计算型。
直接型多用辨音或一些无用信息干扰。
提示,听录音前迅速浏览题干和选项,只有看清题目问的是什么,才能有目的地去听。
计算型首先要听清楚对话中的数字,在此基础上,着重去捕捉那些与计算相关的关键词。

英语听力数字计算类方法和技巧:
1.Predict before listen. (听前积极地预测)
通过问题和选项预测对话的大体内容。
做到有的放矢。
以便在听的过程中抓到所需要的信息。
2.Grasp the key words and take notes properly. (重点捕捉关键词,适当做笔录)
根据选项的分析,重点捕捉常见的关键词,并把听到的数字和关键词记录下来以防遗忘。
3.According to key words and figure out. (根据相关关键词,进行合理的计算)
根据听到的数字,结合关键词做适当的运算和处理得出正确答案。
