海上钢琴师英语观后感
海上钢琴师英语观后感The legend of 1900A fter watching this fi lm, I can’t hold my tears back. Not only dose it touched me, but also it described the classical life of a man who has God’s arms. In addition, 1900's story is told via flashback and reflection by Max, a friend of 1900's of whom he spent many years with on the ship, and played the trumpet along side him in the jazz orchestra.1900 is a talent. When he first touched the piano, he played it excellent. And his spirit is random, he once said :” Fuck the regulation .” He thought his music belongs to the soul, belongs to people who understand it, belongs to the freedom. 1900 never set his foot on the land except when he encountered his love. But when he had already packaged his things and stood on the stairs, he flinched. Then he never step out of the ship, even never go down the stairs. After the war ended ,the ship was too old to carry people and it would be exploded.1900’s friend, his only friend found 1900 still in the ruined ship. But our adamant pianist was stuck with his determination, to him , the ship is all, the ship is his whole world. Before his death, 1900 tells the reasons for not treading on land when he’s walking down the ladder. “ I’m not afraid of what I can see, I’m afraid of what I can’t see”, 1900 is frightened as he can’t see the end of the city. Finally his friend left 1900 sorrowfully, watched the ship being bombed, a talent disappeared, the legend of 1900 ended.I t’s a classical movie. Although the movie is untrue, it closes to our heart, it strucked me, what about you?1900 once told his only friend, Max :” Land? Land is a ship too big for me. It's a woman too beautiful; it's a voyage too long, a perfume toostrong. It's a music I don't know how to make. I could never get off this ship.” I think it’s a symbol of weakne ss. Poor 1900 is afraid of being hurt. With no doubt, loneliness adversely affects his personality. He fear change his temporary condition, he wants his everyday life remains the same. he fear that if he left the ship everything would out of control. It’s quite lamentable that he could win over the piano master, but he couldn’t win over himself. He lived in their own world, and other people weren’t able to walk in.I n the movie, when Max told others the story of his friend, nobody believed. At last, the moving story only made Max bring back his trumpet. I once believed that when 1900 bombed with the ship, the ending is perfect. But the ordinary end seems more touched. Just as Max said:” Sooner or later all stories ended.” No matter how popular the story was, it would ensed. And 1900 only lives in Max’s memory.T he music, which I feel make the film more perfect ,all by Ennio Morricone, is wonderful. I loved how scenes would just be time after time of 1900 pounding out notes. It reminded me of "Tango" in the sense that you were watching it more for its dancing and cheorography than its storytelling; "The Legend of 1900" was interesting mostly for its musical capabilities. What’s more, the music could deeply embody the emotion of the lonely man and made us know more about the film.O ur life is also a performance, but without fixed script, everybody around you is audience, but they have different goal and attitude; everybody around you is actor, they act different stories.T he world needs legend. Perhaps 1900 would have a beauty as lifelong companion, we may thought if they would live happily.Perhaps when 1900 go to the land, he would become wealthy and famous, but we would also thought, a ship or a world, which is more important. Because when 1900 had his lover, he would not be the classical people, when 1900 set his foot on the land, he would not be the legend. To build a legend, the director made 1900 married with a piano. And we could feel 1900’s real friend is piano.1900 is very familiar wit h the emotion which the piano convey, but persons’ exchange can not get it. May be it’s a little sad, it is true.。

Life last sceneReview of ''The Legend of 1900''The first day of 1900, the man Danny Boodman, who is working in a round-trip cruise in Europe and the United States, responsible for the cruise to add coal, were picking up the things that the rich are left behind in the first class. He unexpectedly found a piano was abandoned newborns, mounted on the TD Lemon empty cartons. Firmly believe that the "TD" represents the abbreviation of Thanks by Danny, so Danny despite the ridicule of other workers, independent tending the baby, and to commemorate this special day, he was named: 1900.1900, was born at sea in the land never existed, no relatives, no domicile, no nationality, the sea is his cradle, and he as the Virginian and from berthing piers gradually grew up. But nothing lasts forever, once a maritime accident, resulting in Danny’s death in an accident, Fortunately, like a miracle, one day late at night the crowd on board the beautiful sound of the piano awakened, and to follow the sound of the piano is actually self-taught through 1900 ecstasy at the piano and playing, melody touched everyone, Since then, in 1900 embarked on the journey of playing the piano at sea, has also attracted more and more tourists come here especially.Under the fate, Max came to the Virginian and joined the band accompaniment. Meeting the legendary Pianist – 1900,and they became good friends. 1900 with the invention of jazz legend pianist Jelly same boat competitive piano playing piano, momentum is the sun at high noon. But despite Max repeatedly encouraged 1900 disembark the whereabouts of the world showing off his talent in 1900 but still did not step foot in the land. Touching the girl, until the handsome addition to his record company to record a solo album, accidentally saw the cabin and moved, I created a "1900's Theme" (unknown song titles mentioned by the owner of Max and musical instruments). 1900 heart began to fluctuate along with the girls disembark departure.1900 death did not leave the ship, the final and Virginian numbers together into fragments.1900 said that the land is not visible on the end, I'm afraid not I see, but that I cannot see. His life in the ocean, in the face of the piano, all in the land, there are too many uncertainties for him, so he has no land in hesitate. As he said: "I see the end of the sight of land, perhaps in terms of 1900, the sky and sea views to see the horizon, and from much of the cruise berthing port, 88 keys is limited, he can to create unlimited music, and endless land, however large cities, is he not see, cannot grasp. He has also been under determination to leave the ship to land to find that his heart girl, but he eventually return, hat thrown into the edge of who can be seen resolute that moment on, he certainly will not be disembark idea. The world, the 1900 never existed, only on the Virginian No. musical genius (or devil's more appropriate), he has become part of the ship, naturally disappear along with the Virginian. Why the director chose 1900? I think it was the beginning of the 20th century. Technological and industrial development of our world become quite unpredictable, and has declined relative to the astonishing pace of change in people's ability to accept. The world becoming more and more people unpredictable, and people more or less unknown world some fear, this fear 1900 is expanded and exaggerated.Another question, why are those people who saw the United States will be so excited? In fact, the state of the world to look at that era is not difficult to understand. Most of the world are shrouded in the smoke of war among the United States away from these disputes and the rapid development of those who have suffered the pain of war going through the thousands of new hardships to finally see the symbol of peace came to the New World immigrants the freedom of the Statue of Liberty will naturally be carried away shouting "the AMERICA”. In fact, the New World for immigrants is unknownand unfamiliar, but they are still trying to across the ocean to come here. But 1900 didn’t dare to step any closer when he was just step away from the land.At first I thought that the 1900 does not disembark because he staggered above for 30 years, perhaps he was afraid that he has no party to adapt to life on land, but read the comments of many users, I understand that he is not afraid of the world unfamiliar without setting foot on land, in a death can smile leisurely telling jokes guy does not, what things to be afraid of. I think that 1900 is not only a talented pianist, but also a natural thinker. He pursued the significance of the existence of life. As an orphan born on board, he clearly understand their own, the sea is his world, the piano is his life, Virginian, is his home. Leave this to any one, he will not be able to breathe properly. 1900 with Myers farewell, he said, my world is on this ship, I can use 88 key shells scrape music infinitely broad, like the ocean, where I can see the end of the horizon. Because of his choice and optimism, so we do not think his death is a tragedy. We will admire him, do not necessarily admire his face calm and composed of 6 Dayton explosives, but because he had such a profound understanding of their understanding of their own will go.When listening to the "Pianist" My heart is in tears. This is a masterpiece. It is one time movie director designed. Movie retro decoration, smoking cruise and light jazz I returned to the Great Depression era, back to the places of occurrence, witnessed the scene, and content. The movie soundtrack is very exciting, appropriately. Film development to the mid-orgasm sounds from, because the period of encounter! Love sowed the seeds. I believe a lot of people told me that the movie clips without any warning flashed a simple encounter touched, gives a familiar realism. Like his first love, that is what life should look forward to? It can’t be forgotten.Playing Love "is a song, soundtrack CD, the most profoundly moving story of native portrayal of Neo Moree Morricone his affectionate and elegant genre once again captured the hearts of viewers and fans. In the film, when 1900 playing the piano piece, thestory of his life seems to have condensation in the beautiful melodies. Listen carefully, this is the essence of the film, I do not know in the audio world, there is another song that can match this song, do not know, there is no one lens instead of the usually girl in the movie. Flash across the face. It is a soul song enough to Sculpting in Time. Masters of the heart was in the process of playing, what kind of ideas? Within the heart if there is a part of his world, love the presence of complex ideas, dreams scared, be very full and disputes, lingering and heartache. But I believe that even come to an end the moment tempted, also will be no regrets in this life. Good music, do not have to sing it, when rapid relief of rhythm, when the emergency relief of the song, listen carefully, we must hear it. The wind! Rain! Cheers! Whistle! Heartbeat! Eleven can feel!Max holding phonograph, playing the nameless music gentle enough to look for 1900 is about to blow up Virginia, along with film clips, music max and tenderness appear in some of the old board, then not so much his behavior is to look for, might as well say that the work of mourning, recalling with 1900's As Time Goes By, recalling pictures of light and shadow."Why are you seasick?" This is the first sentence of two years later when they met again. It is their friendship at memory. Max eventually did not discourage the 1900’s final decision, understanding face the choice of his road of no return, which is a depth of feelings, changed you, how would you do, it is selfish to pull him disembark or let him reach the sublimation of the soul. When max quietly left in tears about to blow up Virginia, 1900 stopped him and told him a funny, touching joke, which makes I found the talk between man and man, had so sensual, so beautiful, so sad, when I have a sense of grief is a lonely sad. Think of a person watching the movie, a person to finish the diary. Life is a bosom friend is sufficient. AndI, 1900 may be luckier. In fact, watching this movie "Pianist", really easily pulled along by the film. Will also be a lens, an expression, a look, a scene, a passion, a tear, I, Love the movie touched, it is the charm of the movies with sound. Be pulled along the course of time, I watched the movie screen, physical floating, slow heart beat, and another moving impact on my heart! Key wind and dance, your heart will be breathing the gas and traction, all no doubt? Make you feel like this is as if a life story - the legend of love. That’s all. In fact, every heart all hopes to have your own - Life last scene.欢迎您的下载,资料仅供参考!致力为企业和个人提供合同协议,策划案计划书,学习资料等等打造全网一站式需求。

这个是老师的作业在网上索罗整理的A Film Review―The Legend of 19001900, an abandoned baby which is taken care by one of the crews in the ship, Virginia. 1900 was the year which the crew discovered the baby, thus, the boy was named 1900. The crew dies several years later and at that time, 1900 is entirely isolated. He is a genius and he knows how to play the piano without being taught. He gets his own style and wins the applause of passengers. However, he isn’t happy at all. What he is searching for is love and care, yet he cannot find them. In this essay, I will examine how 1900 suffers from loneliness and how he is afraid of changes. The only companion of 1900 is the piano; he gets used to expressing his feeling via music. Yet, can the piano share with him? Can the music be the tonic for his loneliness? The poor guy has no choices; he was born to be lonely. Maybe it’s his fate. 1900 always wants to attract people by his absorbing performance. Though there is, in fact, nearly no conversation between them, they even don’t know one another. He still wants to be surrounded by the crowd. 1900 doesn’t want to be alone; he enjoys the t ime being accompanied by people. This can explain why he feels so disappointed, frustrated and he stops playing the piano when the crowd leaves as the destination is reached. 1900 has to become solitary again! One of the passengers admires his talents very much and tries to talk to him. The farmer shares with him about his misfortune and loneliness. 1900 knows the feeling better than anybody does as he has been suffering for 27 years! He hasn’t disclosed his feeling to others; he just says that he gets a friend sharing the similar situation. It’s a paradox that on the one hand, he wants to speak out his own feeling, which has buried in his heart for a longtime, and shares with people; on the other hand, he can’t pluck up his courage to mention his situation in front of people. Maybe it is of no use to tell others or 1900 doesn’t want anyone to sympathize him.Loneliness makes him afraid of contacting strangers, lack of confidence and shy while communicating with strangers. When there’re two strangers coming to inform him the competition, he runs away and hides himself. Poor 1900 is afraid of being hurt. With no doubt, loneliness adversely affects his personality. On the shipboard, a young, pure, beautiful girl has caught his attention. He loves the girl and wants to send her a gift. He doesn’t know how to initiate the conversation. 1900 practices again and again in the cabinet. He is too timid to send the girl his record. His personality makes him miss a chance. 1900 is very unhappy and breaks the record. Again, he just keeps his mouth shut and never shares with the others. It is obvious that he no longer wants to share, he is too tired to find opportunities to air his feeling.Changes make 1900 scared, he wants his everyday life remains the same. For 27 years, he stays on board and never treads on land. Although his crews always persuade him to get off, he is reluctant to try. Several months after the girl had left, 1900 suddenly wants to tread on land. His reason is that he wants to listen to the voice of the sea as he can only hear it clearly on land. However, it’s true that he wants to find the girl and expresses love to her. 1900 hides his feeling again. Yet, when he is on thehalfway of the ladder that leads to the land, he stops. He stands there to look at the city in front of him. 1900 gives up treading on land and returns to the ship.1900 can live safely on the ship as he can see the ends of the ship. Many years later, as the ship is too old and it needs to be exploded to pieces. One of the crew knows that he will be still on the ship. He tries to find him. Before his death, 1900 tells the reasons for not treading on land when he’s walking down the ladder. “ I’m not afraid of what I can see, I’m afraid of what I can’t see”, 1900 is frightened as he can’t see the end of the city. “ Where is the end of the world?” Moreover, there’re only two thousand passengers on broad at a time. It’s a fixed number and it will not change. It can explain why 1900 prefers staying on board. He takes t he piano as an example, “ There are finite keys on the piano”, and he can make “infinite music” out of it. However, the world is a piano that is too big for him. There are infinite keys in the world, how can he make music out of it? It implies that there are so many changes in the world; he can hardly face the challenges. “There are thousands of streets in the city…which one should I choose to die?” It shows that 1900 is scared by the ever-changing world and he is too tired to choose. He thinks that he can’t adapt to the changes as “ the world has passed me (him) by”. In addition, fame, fortune, girl can’t make him tread on land. 1900 chooses to die onthe ship rather than getting off. It can be seen that how deeply he is afraid of changes. The marvelous life of 1900 makes him become the legend.Reflection:It's a simple movie, with a simple story and a simple main character - and thats what makes this film so good. Itwasn't made to be great and big; it just want to tell the story of a man who was left behind and raised in the Ocean. He never set foot on land and that's the only thing that makes him special. That and all its consequences. Visually the movie is beautiful and its a proof that special effects have nothing to do with a beautiful image - they are beautiful because you feel it. And it's a story that will make you want to meet the main character in person. The ending is wonderful and it's very well put (so hard to find a good ending these days). Tim Roth is excellent as 1900, but the two biggest actors in this movie are the "ship" and the "ocean". Both seem to have a life of their own. This is not only a movie that is worth to watch, it's a movie everybody should watch - it's the living proof that a movie doesn't have to be great to be good. In fact, it can be excellent.。
海上钢琴师、阿甘正传英文影评
At the end of the film, the talented piano player full of legendary color left the world with Victorian in the explosion. I don’t know how to describe the feeling when the ship exploded. Maybe it is sad, or something else.
He spent all the time on the ship named Victorian where he was born and grew up. The ship is his world. Every time people all gone, he was surrounded by deep solitude. He has no friends, except the music. He is used to the life which is full of his own elements and the land was too big for him, so he rejected to stay there for even one minute. He is afraid of being alone; he scared of being deprived of his music, which is his only friend. He will pay anything to leave himself away from the land, including his life!
那个世界好重,压在我身上。你甚至不知道它在哪里结束,你难道从来不为自己生活在无穷选择里而害怕得快崩溃掉吗?
英语演讲(关于电影海上钢琴师)
It is a story about spiritual freedom and pure soul.A man called 1900 was born on the ship, then he grew on the ship and died on the ship. The ship called Virginian bears his whole life.In 1900;s time, only once he made a decision to leave the ship and see the world.but at last he turned back.Because he can;t face the infinite city life.
It's a story about a pianist called 1900.He showed his talent for music since he was very young.Because he didn’t have an identity, he h ad to stay on board and never had a chance to get on the land.So in the end,he ended up alone.英文影评He's a man so brave, that he can play the imaginary piano when exploded with the ship he was born, lived and died in. Yet he's a man so scared, that he cannot face the infinite city life we are living everyday. He's a man so intelligent, that he can play the piano as if he has four arms (or I'd rather say, he hasGod's arms). Yet he's a man so stupid, that he chose to gone with the wind while he's other choice could be marrying a beautiful woman and having a child. He's a man so perceptive, that he could use his music language to describe exactly others' feelings. Yet he's a man so insensitive that he'd rather disappear after a gentle kiss on his beloved while she's asleep than unburden himself and tell her "ILU".But one thing is for sure: this man is a real artist--pianist. Only a man like him can dance with the piano in a terrifying storm. Only a man like him can give up the first two bouts of a duel, and beat the competitor entirely, convincingly, potently in the last bout. Only a man like him... can have such a beautiful story to tell...This man is Danny Boodmann T.D. Lemon Nineteen Hundred, who is also known as simply "1900". A man never existed. He has never set foot on land in his entire life. No ID. No passport. No Visa. No parents. No birthday. Nothing in the world belongs to him except his music. So he played. For the first class guests. For the third class members. For the girl at the window. For the darkness of the night. For the heartbeat of his own. For the sea-- his eternal home.He had once wanted to get off the ship. To meet his girl and to hear the voice of the sea, as he always wanted to. He hugged friends goodbye and waved and went down. But his pace became slower and slower, and finally stopped. As he described at the end of the movie:"Nineteen Hundred: All that city. You just couldn't see the end to it. The end? Please? You please just show me where it ends? It was all very fi ne on that gangway. And I was grand too, in my overcoat. I cut quite a figure. And I was getting off. Guaranteed. There was no problem. It wasn't what I saw that stopped me, Max. It was what I didn't see. You understand that? What I didn't see. In all that sprawling city there was everything except an end. There was no end. What I did not see was where the whole thing came to an end. The end of the world... Take a piano. The keys begin, the keys end. You know there are eighty-eight of them, nobody can tell you any different. They are not infinite. You are infinite. And on these keys the music that you can make is infinite. I like that. That I can live by. You get me up on that gangway andyou're rolling out in front of me a keyboard of millions of keys, millions and billions of keys that never end, and that's the truth, Max. That they never end. That keyboard is infinite. And if that keyboard is infinite, then on that keyboard there is no music you can play. You're sitting on the wrong bench. That's God's piano. Christ! Did, did you see the streets? Just the streets? There were thousands of them! And how do you do it down there? How do you choose just one? One woman, one house, one piece of land to call your own, one landscape to look at, one way to die... All that world is weighing down on me, you don't even know where it comes to an end, and aren't you ever just scared of breaking apart at the thought of it? The enormity of living it? I was born on this ship, and the world passed me by, but two thousand people at a time. And there were wishes here, but never more than fit between prow and stern. You played out your happiness, but on a piano that was not infinite. I learned to live that way. Land? Land is a ship too big for me. It's a woman too beautiful; it's a voyage too long, a perfume too strong. It's a music I don't know how to make. I could never get off this ship. At best, I can step off my life. After all, I don't exist for anyone. You're an exception, Max, you're the only one who knows I'm here. You're a minority, and you better get used to it. Forgive me, my friend, but I'm not getting off."He didn't get off. That's what he said and he did. As I mentioned above, he died with the ship, in the explosion. I believe at this point of the movie, no body can hold their tears back.By the way, this movie is Directed by Giuseppe Tornatore, who is also the director of Nuovo cinema Paradiso and Malèna. Some people say the legend of 1900 is the director's compromise to Hollywood-style-commercial movie. Well, I know nothing about this kind... It's a excellent movie. Much I could say.《The Legend of the Pianist on the Ocean》电影英文简介:1900, an abandoned baby which is taken care by one of the crews in the ship, Virginia. 1900 doesn’t want to be alone; he enjoys the time being accompanied by people. It’s a paradox that on the one hand, he wants to speak out his own feeling, which has buried in his heart for a long time, and shares with people; on the other hand, he can’t pluck up his courage to mention his situation in front of people. With no doubt, loneliness adversely affects hispersonality. Yet, when he is on the halfway of the ladder that leads to the land, he stops. He takes the piano as an example, “ There are finite keys on the piano”, and he can make “infinite music” out of it. However, the world is a piano th at is too big for him. There are infinite keys in the world, how can he make music out of it? It implies that there are so many changes in the world; he can hardly face the challenges. “There are thousands of streets in the city…which one should I choose t o die?” It shows that 1900 is scared by the ever-changing world and he is too tired to choose. He thinks that he can’t adapt to the changes as “ the world has passed me (him) by”. In addition, fame, fortune, girl can’t make him tread on land. 1900 chooses to die on the ship rather than getting off. It can be seen that how deeply he is afraid of changes. The marvelous life of 1900 makes him become the legend.Light music is a generic term applied to a mainly British musical style of "light" orchestral music, which originated in the 19th century and had its heyday during the early to mid part of the 20th century, although arguably it lasts to the present day.The style is a less "serious" form of Western classical music, featuring through-composed, usually shorter orchestral pieces and suites designed to appeal to a wider audience than more serious compositions. The form was especially popular during the formative years of radio broadcasting, with stations such as the BBC Light Programme featuring a playlist largely consisting of light compositions.Occasionally known as mood music or concert music, light music is often grouped with the easy listening genre, although this designation is misleading.Although mainly a British phenomenon, light music was also popular in the U.S. and Europe, and many compositions in the genre are still familiar through their use as film, radio and television themes. This article is about the song by Britney Spears."Hold It Against Me" is three minutes and forty-nine seconds long.It is adance-pop song that blends pulsating industrial and trance beats with elements of grime.Musically, "Hold It Against Me" features industrial beats, a dubstep-influenced breakdown and a final chorus with elements of rave.Initially, the single was going to be released in the United Kingdom on February 20, 2011, but the date was moved up to January 17, 2011, due to overwhelming demand."Hold It Against Me" has received positive reviews from most critics.Britney steps into new territory and pushes the boundaries of dance pop once more. The once picture-perfect pop star has returned and is offering fans the new, worn-and-torn and yes, stronger than yesterday BritneyI introduce one song, its name is "Shining friends",song by 2R.It is very orphean,I like it very much. And it is about the friendship. It tell us that When we are in difficulty, the friends can give us a nice smile,we also can get the help from our friends.Besides, the rhythm of this song is very melodious and sweety,it give me a good mood while I listen to it.All right, try it,I am sure that you will like it,especially the girls, that is my gift for all of you!At last ,What I want to say is,my dear teacher and claamates, you are all of my friends, let us help each other whenever we had need it!I love listening to the music. It makes me relaed. 《海上钢琴师》观后感英语
《海上钢琴师》观后感英语Reflections on "The Legend of 1900""The Legend of 1900" is a captivating film that tells the story of a piano prodigy who spends his entire life on a cruise ship, never setting foot on land. This movie left me with profound thoughts about life, dreams, and the choices we make. The protagonist, 1900, exhibits remarkable musical talent from a very young age. His piano performances are breathtaking, ranging from emotional melodies to exuberant improvisations. However, what truly struck me was his complex relationship with land and the unknown. For 1900, the vast ocean was his home, and the ship he called home was his world. The idea of stepping onto land, into the unknown, filled him with dread. The film raises interesting questions about the meaning of life and the pursuit of dreams. For 1900, his piano was not just an instrument; it was his life, his passion, and his reason for being. His refusal to leave the ship and play for a wider audience represents a deep-seated fear of change and the unknown. It also suggests that for some people, their dreams and their home are intertwined, and leaving one means sacrificing the other. The cinematography in this film is stunning, capturing the beauty of the ocean and the grandeur of the ship. The music, composed and played by Ennio Morricone, is breathtaking and perfectly complements the emotional journey of the characters. In conclusion, "The Legend of 1900" is a beautiful film that explores themes of life, dreams, and the choices we make. It reminds us that everyone's journey is unique, and sometimes, the bravest choice is to stay true to oneself and follow one's heart, even if it leads to a life that others might not understand.。
海上钢琴师英文影评原创the legend of 1900
The legend of 1900The society, the human beings, who is stronger? Who is weaker?Like The Shawshank Redemption, the legend of 1900 relates a story using the second perspective. But frankly speaking, the trumpet player is far from satisfactory than Red. That is not to say the play is terrible, it’s just because Morgan Freeman is so great that I almost consider the legend of 1900 as a plagiarized work when I saw it first. But when saw it in second time, the great skill of Tornatore, which is the ability to shape the roles vividly, become obvious. It is better to consider 1900 as a group of people, not a specific individual. Maybe it is a reason why the screenwriter doesn’t give him a name. Some people say 1900 is a reflection of the fate of artists. And their loneliness contributes to their artistic quality.1900, being adopted by a boiler man, is an abandoned infant. Unfortunately, his adoptive father died in an accident when 1900 is eight years old. On one hand, the immense talent makes him as a self-taught piano master. On the other hand, the fate also let him be deeply suspicious about the secular world. Even if meet a young girl he loved at the first sight, thinking over and over, he ultimately give up the impulse to find his first lover. Feeling that his fate is tied to the ship, 1900 cannot bring himself to leave the only home he has known. In the end, the Virginian blows up and sinks, with 1900 still aboard. This is an unreal marvel, a sentimental story, a genius interweaved with the ocean, steamboat, piano, land, loneliness and friendship. As the most European movies, the legend of 1900 also fills with an arm of insinuations. As an abandoned baby in the ship, a piano master in born, 1900 spent his whole life on the ship and never get off, strolling in the deck while other passengers are suffering from the seasickness. He can’t even get off the boat to looking for the woman he loved deeply. But what’s the key to understand these insinuations? There are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people's eyes. From my own perspective it is the “choice”.The human beings are faced with the choice at all time. Each choice, big or small, decides the direction of our life. 1900 choose to stay in the boat, even all the passengers are sorely tempted to throw him overboard. He said: “Land is a ship too big for me.” He is anxious about the sense of no end, while the key of piano are not infinite, and that lets him relieved. In fact, when compared with the real world, the life of 1900 has somethingunreal. 1900 never contact piano before, but when he play it first, the beautiful music springs from his dexterous hands so naturally. Besides, how a person who never has the formal education can speak in so poetic language? And how he gets the food he needs to survive before Max finds him in that abandoned ship? However, the most controversial spot is the end of the movie: the hero’s conversation with Max. I really don’t agree with the 1900’s explanation why he doesn’t want to go off the ship at the very beginning, thinking he had a negative attitude towards life. But I finally understand the reason. Instead of playing the piano for others or for money, he desires to continue his love for piano in heaven, to play his own music.Just like the 1900, we all have our own world, and desire to live a so-called life in the demarcated safe zone. But can we? I still remember such words: “Take a piano. The keys begin, the keys end. You know there are eighty-eight of them, nobody can tell you any different. They are not infinite. You are infinite. And on these keys the music that you can make is infinite. I like that. That I can live by.” 1900 compresses his life into this side to another, then enlarges into the infinite music he can make on the only 88 keys. Now take the view from piano to the life itself. The freedom of society is infinite, but what a little pleasure can we enjoy from it? Life resembles a huddled adventure, so we are more prone to have a great admiration to these people who concentrate on a specific area always .Sometimes when be tortured by fate, resisting the change can offers us a sense of security. In other words, the human beings are may stronger than society if we can resist the extra temptation from the secular world. T hat’s what the movie want to tell us I think.哈尔滨工业大学航天学院。

Thank you for reading!篇2My Favorite Movie: The PianistHave you ever watched a movie that made you feel really sad, but also inspired you? That's how I felt after seeing the film "The Pianist." It's a war movie, but it's not like other war movies with lots of fighting and explosions. Instead, it shows how hard life was for one man and his family during World War II.The main character is Wladyslaw Szpilman, a famous Polish pianist and composer. In the beginning, he has a good life inWarsaw with his parents, siblings, and two nieces. Wladyslaw plays piano on the radio and everyone enjoys listening to his beautiful music. But then the German Nazi army invades Poland in 1939 and everything changes. The Nazis didn't like Jewish people like Wladyslaw's family. They made lots of unfair rules and took away the rights of Jewish people. Wladyslaw and his family had to move into a cramped ghetto area of the city. They didn't have much food or heat, and they were scared all the time of the Nazi soldiers who patrolled the streets.Despite the terrible conditions, Wladyslaw tried his best to keep playing piano and writing music to give people hope. He played underground concerts for his neighbors in hiding places. Music was his way of keeping his spirit alive during those dark times.Things kept getting worse, though. Wladyslaw's whole family was captured and sent to the concentration camps, those awful Nazi prisons. Wladyslaw himself barely escaped deportation several times, helped by brave Polish friends who hid him. The scenes of the Nazis violently rounding up people were so disturbing and upsetting to watch. At one point, when the war was almost over, Wladyslaw was starving and all alone in an abandoned house in the bombed-out ruins of the city. Just when it seemed he might not survive, a surprising thing happened. A kind German officer named Wilm Hosenfeld found Wladyslaw and quietly left him food instead of turning him in to the Nazis. This small act of compassion and humanity helped save Wladyslaw's life.By the movie's end in 1945, the war was finally over. Out of his huge family, Wladyslaw was one of the only survivors. Despite losing nearly everyone and everything he loved, he began rebuilding his life through his talent and love for piano music. The final scene showing Wladyslaw playing a beautiful piano concert made me feel hopeful after all the suffering he endured. The story of "The Pianist" is incredible because it's a true story based on Wladyslaw Szpilman's memoirs. I can't imagine having to go through what he experienced, with your whole world turned upside down through no fault of your own. The movie doesn't glorify war, but shows its harsh realities and human costs. It made me appreciate how lucky I am to live in peace. At the same time, I was inspired by Wladyslaw's quiet strength, resilience, and determination to keep playing piano nomatter what obstacles he faced. His music became a form of spiritual resistance against the Nazis' cruelty and injustice. Even in unimaginably difficult circumstances, he never lost his humanity or hope.I think everyone should watch "The Pianist" because it's an important story that teaches us to be compassionate, stand up against discrimination, and persist in following our passions no matter how hard life gets. The movie had some violent scenes that were hard to watch, but they showed just how terrible the Nazis were to Jewish people and other groups. I'm glad there are movies like this that help educate people about the real horrors of events like the Holocaust so that hopefully things like that will never happen again. After seeing Wladyslaw's powerful example, I want to work harder to be a kinder person and appreciate the freedoms I have.I also have a new respect for the ability of great music and art to inspire people and spread important messages during difficult times. Most importantly, "The Pianist" reminds me to always hold on to hope, even in the darkest of days. I'll never forget this beautiful yet heartbreaking movie.篇3My Favorite Movie: The PianistOne of my all-time favorite movies is "The Pianist." It's a really powerful and moving film that tells the true story of a Polish-Jewish pianist named Wladyslaw Szpilman during World War II. Even though the movie deals with some very heavy topics like the Holocaust, I think it's an important story that everyone should learn about. The movie starts out in 1939 in Warsaw, Poland, just before the Nazis invaded. Wladyslaw, who everyone calls "Wladek," is a famous pianist who plays concerts and works on radio broadcasts. He has a nice life with his family in the Jewish ghetto. But then everything changes when the Nazis take over. The Nazis started making lots of unfair rules and laws against the Jewish people. They forced all the Jews in Warsaw, including Wladek's family, to move into a few small areas of the city called "ghettos." They couldn't leave and had to live in cramped, dirty conditions without enough food. It was absolutely awful.Things kept getting worse for Wladek and the other Jews. The Nazis started violently attacking them and sending many off to concentration camps. In one really scary scene, Wladek is outafter curfew and has to hide in an abandoned house to avoid being caught by Nazi soldiers.Eventually, the Nazis decided to empty out the ghetto entirely. They rounded up all the Jews, including Wladek's whole family, and sent them off to the camps. This part always makes me cry. Wladek managed to escape at the last minute by sneaking out of the ghetto through the city's sewers and tunnels. But his entire family was taken to the death camps. For the rest of the war, Wladek had to keep moving from one hiding spot to the next to avoid being captured. He lived in constant fear, hardly ate, and saw so many horrible things. A few times he was given shelter by kind Polish people who risked their lives to protect him. I'm always amazed by people's bravery and compassion, even in the darkest of times. One of the most powerful scenes is when Wladek ends up alone in an abandoned house. He is starving, exhausted, and has lost all hope. But then he sees an old piano in the house. Even though he is just skin and bones, he gathers what little strength he has left and begins playing piano beautifully. The music gives him the will to keep going. That part always gives me chills. Finally, in 1945 the war ended and Wladek was free. He was one of the only members of his entire family to survive theHolocaust. In the final scene, a Polish friend helps get Wladek a job playing piano again on a radio broadcast. As he starts playing, the camera shows Wladek with tears in his eyes, but also a sense of hope and perseverance. It's such a powerful and emotional ending.I first saw The Pianist when I was maybe 9 or 10 years old. Some parts were definitely scary and upsetting to watch. But my parents explained the important history behind the story. They said we have to learn about events like the Holocaust so that hatred and violence against others because of their religion or race will hopefully never happen again.Even though the movie is set during a very dark period, I think it ultimately has a uplifting message about the resilience of the human spirit. No matter how terrible the circumstances, some people were able to hold onto their humanity, creativity, and hope. Wladek's ability to keep playing the piano and pursuing his passion in the midst of so much oppression and genocide is really inspirational to me.The Pianist is an extremely well-made film on a technical level too. The acting is phenomenal - Adrien Brody definitely deserved the Oscar he won for playing Wladek. The directing, cinematography, and musical score are all excellent as well. Ihave so much respect for the filmmakers for tackling such a difficult but important subject matter.I know the movie is pretty heavy material, especially for a kid. But I actually think it's good to learn about serious historical events like the Holocaust at a younger age in an age-appropriate way. It helps teach lessons about racism, xenophobia, bravery, resilience, and human rights that will stick with you. The Pianist definitely had that effect on me.Whenever I'm going through a tough or scary situation in my own life, I think back to scenes of Wladek persevering through things a million times worse while still holding onto his humanity and his art. If he could get through that hell on earth, I figure I can handle my own challenges too. His story reminds me to appreciate the freedoms I have, to stand up against injustice, and to pursue the things I'm passionate about no matter what obstacles get in the way.The Pianist isn't necessarily an easy or fun movie to watch. But it's beautifully crafted, tells an incredible true story, and has so many powerful life lessons. It's definitely one of the most impactful and meaningful films I've ever seen. I think everyone, kids included, should experience it. Just make sure to give yourself plenty of time afterwards to process everything anddiscuss the movie's important messages and themes. Movies like this have the power to open our minds, Hearts, and change the way we view the world for the better.篇4My Favorite Movie: The PianistHave you ever watched a movie that made you feel really sad but also inspired you? The movie "The Pianist" did that for me. It's based on the true story of a brilliant Polish pianist named Władysław Szpilman who survived the Holocaust during World War II. Even though the movie deals with a very dark time in history, I think it's an important story that everyone should know. The movie starts out in Warsaw, Poland in 1939 before the war begins. Władysław is a popular rad io pianist and is living a comfortable life with his family. But then Nazi Germany invades Poland and everything changes. The Nazis start rounding up Jewish people like Władysław and forcing them to live in a ghetto surrounded by walls and barbed wire.Life in the ghetto is terrible. There's not enough food or medicine and people are constantly being deported trainloads to Nazi concentration camps. Władysław and his family have to share one tiny room and deal with hunger, sickness, and fearevery day. A t one point, Władysław's whole family gets deported except for him. He has to go into hiding to avoid being captured. For months, Władysław hides in different places around the ghetto, trying not to get caught by the Nazis. He doesn't have much to eat and is always scared someone will turn him in. A few kind people risk their own lives to shelter him for short times. Finally, the ghetto gets demolished entirely by the Nazis after an uprising. Władysław is one of the only survivors left. After the gh etto is emptied out, Władysław has to fend for himself in the ruins of Warsaw. He sneaks around abandoned buildings, scrounging for any food he can find. In one intense scene, he's nearly caught and executed by Nazi soldiers. Akind-hearted German officer named Wilm Hosenfeld spares his life and even helps him get a place to hide. For over a year,Władysław lives in hiding until the Soviet army finally liberates Warsaw at the end of the war. There are a few scenes in the movie that really stuck with me. One is when the Nazis are emptying out the ghetto and deporting all the residents. There's a little boy all alone, crying in the street while carrying a teddy bear. A Nazi officer just calmly walks up and shoots the boy point blank. It's a heartbreakingscene that shows how cruel the Nazis were, even towards innocent children.Another powerful scene is when Władysław is starving and weak in the ghetto, but he hears a german officer listening to a recording of him playing the piano on a scratchy record player. In that moment, Władysław is reminded of his passion for music and why he needs to go on living, despite the horror surrounding him. It's a touching reminder of how art and beauty can persevere even in the darkest of times.Although the movie is full of tragedy and suffering, I was inspired by Władysław's courage, resilience, and will to survive against all odds. He lost his entire family and went through unimaginable hardship, yet he never lost hope. By some miracle, he managed to outwit the Nazis and make it through the war alive because of his determination and the few people who helped shelter him. What I took away most from the film is how senseless hatred and discrimination can lead to such profound suffering and loss of human life. The Nazis regarded Jewish people as subhuman solely because of their religion and ethnicity. This racist ideology allowed them to commit genocide through starvation, shootings, gas chambers, and other cruel atrocities. Millions of innocent souls perished just because of small-minded prejudices.Yet the film also shows that even in the midst of evil, there were some glimmers of human decency. The few people who risked their lives to shelter Władysław showed great moral courage. Officer Wilm Hosenfeld put his own life in jeopardy to protect Władysław and was later imprisoned in a Nazi camp himself. This proves that hatred can be overcome by brave individuals who make the choice to look past stereotypes and see our shared humanity. In the end, The Pianist is an unforgettable movie that everyone needs to experience. Even though it depicts one of the darkest chapters of human history, it's a powerful reminder of why we must reject racism, antisemitism, and all forms of discrimination. It shows that the human spirit can persevere through immense cruelty and suffering through courage, art, compassion, and our shared hopes for a better future.Despite its heavy subject matter, I think this is an important movie for kids to watch too (perhaps with some parental guidance for the most graphic parts). It can teach powerful lessons about the consequences of hatred, the importance ofbravery and human decency, and the enduring resilience of the human spirit even in the face of unimaginable adversity.篇5My Favorite Movie: The PianistHi there! My name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite movie called "The Pianist." It's such an amazing and powerful film that really moved me.The Pianist is a true story that takes place during World War II in Poland. It's about a brilliant Jewish pianist named Wladyslaw Szpilman. When the Nazi Germans invade Poland in 1939, Wladyslaw's life is turned upside down.At first, the Nazis force all the Jews in Warsaw, including Wladyslaw and his family, to leave their homes and move into a rundown area called the Warsaw Ghetto. They are crammed into this tiny space with thousands of other Jews. There is barely any food or clean water. It's a really scary and sad situation.Despite the awful conditions, Wladyslaw tries to stay positive. He continues playing the piano whenever he can to lift people's spirits. Music is his passion and brings him joy even during the darkest of times. I admire how he never gives up hope.Eventually, the Nazis decide to empty out the ghetto by sending all the Jews to concentration camps. This is when things get really intense and terrifying in the movie. Wladyslaw is separated from his family and has to go into hiding to avoid being captured. For many months, he hides out in different places all around the ruined city of Warsaw. He has to be absolutely silent and still at all times so the Nazi soldiers don't find him. Sometimes he goes days without food or water. I can't even imagine how scared and hungry he must have felt.Despite his sufferings, Wladyslaw's spirit is never broken. He keeps reminding himself that as long as he is alive, there is still hope. The actor who plays him, Adrien Brody, does such an amazing job showing his strength and determination to survive. My favorite part is when Wladyslaw is given shelter by a kind Polish man named Wilm Hosenfeld. Even though it's extremely risky, Wilm decides to protect Wladyslaw and provide him with food. To me, this shows that there were still good people during this tragic time who were brave enough to help others. Their friendship is so touching. In the end, Wladyslaw does manage to survive the Holocaust against all odds. The final scene where he plays piano for the firsttime after the war always gives me chills. It's such a powerful moment celebrating his resilience and love of music.I think the most important message of the film is to never lose hope, even in the darkest and most difficult situations. Wladyslaw's courage and passion for his art kept him going when most people would have given up. That's why he is such an inspirational person. The Pianist really opened my eyes to the unimaginable horrors that millions of Jews suffered during the Holocaust. It's a hard movie to watch at times because of the disturbing scenes of violence and cruelty. However, I'm glad I saw it because it taught me so much about that tragic period in history.I have so much respect and admiration for Wladyslaw Szpilman after learning his incredible story of survival. Whenever I feel sad or scared, I think of how he persevered through even worse circumstances with bravery and grace. He's proof that the human spirit can overcome anything as long as we don't abandon hope. The acting, music, and overall production values are fantastic too. Adrien Brody definitely deserved to win the Oscar for his raw and emotional performance as Wladyslaw. The scenes of him playing piano so beautifully are mezmerizing. And I'll neverforget the haunting images of war-torn Warsaw - it looked like a nightmare come to life.In my opinion, The Pianist is a cinematic masterpiece that everyone should see. Yes, it's long and heavy at times. But it has so many important lessons about remaining strong during our most difficult struggles. It celebrates the resilience of the human spirit in a truly powerful way.I think this incredible true story will stay with me for the rest of my life. Whenever I'm tempted to complain or feel sorry for myself, I'll remember poor Wladyslaw hiding in ruins and going days without food or water. Yet he never stopped dreaming of better days. His unwavering hope and love for his art is what allowed him to survive the unimaginable nightmare of the Holocaust. If an ordinary person like Wladyslaw could get through something so horrific, then I know I can overcome any obstacles in my own life. The Pianist fills me with inspiration to work hard, appreciate the good people around me, and cherish all of life's little joys and beauties like music. It's one of the most profound and moving films I've ever experienced. So those are my thoughts on the brilliant movie The Pianist. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend you check it out.Just be prepared - it's an unforgettable and emotionally draining viewing experience. But it's also uplifting in its portrayal of the unbreakable strength of the human spirit against all odds. I'm already looking forward to watching it again soon!篇6Title: My Favorite Movie - The Piano Teacher on the OceanIntroduction:Hi everyone! 海上钢琴师英文总结English Answer:The legend of 1900, the pianist who was abandoned as a baby on an ocean liner and raised by the ship's crew, has been immortalized in the enchanting film "The Legend of 1900." Set against the backdrop of the 20th century's tumultuous events, the story unfolds through the reminiscences of Max Tooney, the ship's aging trumpet player and 1900's lifelong friend.1900 displays an extraordinary gift for music from a tender age. Despite having no formal training, hisintuitive touch and uncanny ability to improvise captivate all who hear him. As the ship sails across the Atlantic, 1900 becomes a legend among the passengers and crew, his music serving as a beacon of hope and solace amidst the chaos of the world. However, 1900's passion for music is intertwined with adeep-seated fear of disembarking the ship. He believes that if his feet touch land, his music will lose its magic and he will be confined to a life less extraordinary than the one he has built aboard the ship. This fear holds him captive, preventing him from experiencing the world beyond the confines of the ocean liner. As the years pass, 1900's life becomes inextricably linked to the rhythms of the ship, the ebb and flow of the ocean, and the faces of the passengers who briefly inhabit his musical world. Among these passengers is a beautiful woman named Betty, who becomes the object of 1900's affection. Despite their mutual attraction, Betty's life on land and 1900's life at sea keep them separated by an insurmountable obstacle. The arrival of the opulent ocean liner SS Virginian presents 1900 with an opportunity to confront his fears and finally step onto solid ground. Jazz legend Jelly Roll Morton challenges 1900 to a musical duel, an event that could propel 1900 to international acclaim. However, as the moment of truth approaches, 1900's fear consumes him. Herealizes that his music is not meant for the concert halls of the world but for the boundless expanse of the ocean. In a poignant climax, 1900 chooses to remain on the ship, bidding farewell to the possibility of fame and the love of his life. As the ship sinks into the depths of the ocean, 1900 and his music become one with the sea, his legend forever etched in the hearts of those who were touched by his extraordinary gift."The Legend of 1900" is a cinematic masterpiece that explores the themes of fear, isolation, and the indomitable spirit of the human soul. Through the unforgettable character of 1900, the film invites us to reflect on the choices we make and the sacrifices we are willing to endure to preserve the essence of who we are.中文回答:《海上钢琴师》英文概要。

英文电影海上钢琴师的观后感英文回答:After watching the movie "The Pianist on the Ocean", I was deeply moved by the story and the characters. The film tells the story of a talented pianist named David who embarks on a journey across the ocean to pursue his dreams. One of the things that struck me the most about this movie is the power of music. Throughout the film, David uses his piano skills to bring joy and comfort to the people around him. In one scene, he plays a beautiful piece of music that brings tears to the eyes of an elderly woman. It was a powerful reminder of the universal language of music and how it can touch people's hearts.Another aspect of the movie that I found fascinating was the portrayal of the challenges and hardships that David faced on his journey. From rough seas to limited resources, he encountered numerous obstacles along the way. However, he never gave up and continued to pursue his passion for music. This resilience and determination were truly inspiring. The characters in the movie were also well-developed and relatable. David's interactions with the other passengers on the ship were both heartwarming and humorous. One of my favorite scenes was when he befriended a young boy who had a love for music. 《海上钢琴师》观后感 英文版
The Maritime PianistI've always had an almost obsessive love for movies, and The Pianist at Sea is certainly a classic in my heart. The film is not just a simple piece of entertainment, but also a deep philosophical reflection.First of all, the plot is tight and engaging, taking the audience into a world full of music and emotion. The fate of Max, the pianist on the ship in the 19th century, made me deeply feel the ups and downs and impermanence of life.Secondly, the theme and tone of the film are also impressive. It shows us a world far away from the hustle and bustle of the world, a world full of innocence and freedom. Both Max's life on the boat and his search for himself in music made me think more deeply about the meaning of life. The performances of the actors and the portrayal of the characters are excellent. In particular, John Travolta played Max, whose musical talent and tenacity moved me. I was deeply moved by his charisma, his love of music and his dedication to life. The music production of the film is also a highlight. The soundtrack is both classical and modern, which makes the whole story more vivid. In particular, the music that Max played on the boat made me feel like I was in that era and felt the power of music. The cinematography, production design and special effects are also quite good. The combination of visual effects and sound effects makes the whole story more realistic and fascinating. As for editing, the director cleverly uses flashbacks to make the story more fascinating and increase the audience's understanding of the characters. The proper pacing and concise dialogue make the whole story flow naturally. Finally, I want to talk about how this movie made me feel. It made me re-examine the meaning and value of life, and made me feel the power of music and the beauty of life. It made me understand that no matter how hard life is, as long as we have the courage to face it, have the courage to pursue our dreams, we will be able to find our own happiness.Overall, The Sea Pianist is a film worth seeing again and again. It is not only an entertainment, but also a thought-provoking work. I highly recommend watching this movie, I think you will get some inspiration and inspiration from it.。
海上钢琴师(英语影评)
海上钢琴师(英语影评)这个是老师的作业在网上索罗整理的A Film Review―The Legend of 19001900, an abandoned baby which is taken care by one of the crews in the ship, V irginia. In this essay, I will examine how 1900suffers from loneliness and how he is afraid of changes. The only companion of 1900 is the piano; he gets used to expressing his feeling via music. Y et, can the piano share with him? Can the music be the tonic for his loneliness? The poor guy has no choices; he was born to be lonely. Maybe it’s his fate. 1900 always wants to attract people by his absorbing performance. Though there is, in fact, nearly no conversation between them, they even don’t know one another. He still wants to be surrounded by the crowd. 1900 doesn’t want to be alone; he enjoys the time being accompanied by people. It’s a paradox that on the one hand, he wants to speak out his own feeling, which has buried in his heart for a long time, and shares with people; on the other hand, he can’t pluck up his courage to mention his situation in front of people. Maybe it is of no use to tell others or 1900 doesn’t want anyone to sympathize him.Loneliness makes him afraid of contacting strangers, lack ofconfidence and shy while communicating with strangers. When there’re twostrangers coming to inform him the competition, he runs away and hides himself. Poor 1900 is afraid of being hurt. With no doubt, lonelinessadversely affects his personality. On the shipboard, a young, pure, beautiful girl has caught his attention. He loves the girl and wants to send her a gift. He doesn’t know how to initiate the conversation. 1900 practices again and again in the cabinet. He is too timid to send the girl his record. Hispersonality makes him miss a chance. 1900 is very unhappy and breaks the record. Again, hejust keeps his mouth shut and never shares with theothers. However, it’s true that he wants to find the girl andexpresses love to her. 1900 hides his feeling again. Y et, when he is on the halfway of the ladder that leads to the land, he stops. He stands there to look at the city in front of him. 1900 gives up treading on land and returns to the ship.1900 can live safely on the ship as he can see the ends of the ship. Many years later, as the ship is too old and it needs to be exploded topieces. He takes the piano as an example, “ There are finite keys on the piano”, and he can make “infinite music” out of it. However, the wor ld is a piano that is too big for him. There are infinite keys in the world, how can he make music out of it? It implies that there are so many changes in the world; he can hardly face the challenges. “There are thousands of streets in thecity…which one should I choose to die?” It shows that 1900 is scared by the ever-changing world and he is too tired to choose. He thinks that he can’t adapt to the changes as “ the world has passed me (him) by”. In addition, fame, fortune, girl can’t make him tread on land. 1900 chooses to die on the ship rather than getting off. It can be seen that how deeply he is afraid of changes. The marvelous life of 1900 makes him become the legend.Reflection:It’s a simple movie, with a simple story and a simple ma in character - and thats what makes this film so good. It wasn’t made to be great and big; it just want to tell the story of aman who was left behind and raised in the Ocean. He never set foot on land and that’s the only thing that makes him special. That and all its consequences. Visually the movie is beautiful and its a proof that special effects have nothing to do with a beautiful image - they are beautiful because you feel it. And it’s a story that will make you wa nt to meet the main character in person. The ending is wonderful and it’s very well put (so hard to find a good ending these days). Tim Roth isexcellent as 1900, but the two biggest actors in this movie are the "ship" and the "ocean". Both seem to have a life of their own. This is not only a movie that is worth to watch, it’s a movie everybody should watch - it’s the living proof that a movie doesn’t have to be great to be good. In fact, it can be excellent.。
The legend of 1900海上钢琴师英文影评
Review of "The legend of 1900"The story is told as a series of flashbacks. It started by a man's voice, and ended by he and 1900's dialog. The man--Max Tooney,1900's best friend. He is the witness of 1900's legend.Long long ago, about 1900,there is a ship called Virginian. One day,a baby in a box was found abandoned in it,and likely the son of poor immigrants.Danny,a coal-man,is determined to raise the boy up by his own.He names the boy Danny Boodman T.D. Lemon 1900.Because the boy was born in 1900.So,in the later day, people always call Danny Boodman T.D. Lemon 1900 "1900" in brief.1900 shows a particular gift for music and piano. He joins the ship's band as a pianist. But he never leaves the ship.He is full of talent, music is like his arms.Only this can explain his command of music. He can immediately pick one kind of new music up and starts playing it.1900's fame was flying to Jelly Roll Morton's ears.Jelly is the creator of Jazz music,he want to defeat 1900 to promote himself's reputation. So they had a duel in the ship.Finally,1900 wined.A record producer wanted to record 1900's beautiful music. At the beginning,1900 agreed. But when 1900 hears the recording,he offended at the prospect of anyone hearing the music by record. So he destroyed it.The story flashes back to 1940s.Durning these years,1900 has many chance to get out of the ship and get on the land to begin a new life, but he refused.Time goesby, virginian is old. It's the time to destroy it.Max experienced a lot of sufferings to find 1900.He was still in the ship, never come down. They talked a lot.In the last,1900 died with the ship.Above is the introduction of the film.In fact, there are some films that when you have seen it,feelings rush over and over in your mind, but hard to say."The legend of 1900"is like this. One word to describe the feeling after seeing this film,is "loneliness".But is 1900 truly lonely? Many time I think maybe he's not.He has infinity inspiration of music. He has his own flowing note."Loneliness" doesn't belong to him,it was that he makes us feel lonely. No inborn superior talent,no rich inside,so we feel lonely.Nothing can make the whole world recognize and satisfied,so we feel lonely. We see our lowliness and common from 1900,so we feel lonely. As one,we have varieties of names. But out of these, what can prove out existence?1900 doesn't have any files recording his identity, but he has truly lived.I think the whole life of 1900 represent freedom. He chases himself, ignore the rules of the world. The episode I love most is that he say"Land is a ship too big for me.It's a woman too beautiful; It's a voyage too long,a perfume to strong.I d't know how to make."yTake the piano.Keys begin. Keys end.You know there are 88 of them. They’re not infinite. You’re infinite. And on those keys, the music that you can make is infinite. So this is the freedom the film wants to tell us.。
