2、呈现新课 (Presentation)〔1〕出示图片，教师说：You will see a beautiful picture. Look at it carefully and tell us: What’s in it?/What are they? 教师快速展示系列动物图片：giraffe, monkey,学生根据看到的图片说说动物单词。
培养观察力和记忆力。
〔2〕继续展示图片：两只长颈鹿，比照他们的大小T: What are they? They are giraffes. Oh, Look! This is very tall. But that is very short. 教师强调tall 和 short。
同样出事猴子图片，比拟胖瘦，引出单词fat和 thin，教师领读学生跟读学习单词; 教师也可关闭声音, 让学生看动画读单词。
〔3〕播放Let’s learn 局部的录音，学生单词跟读。
3 、趣味操练 (Practice)〔1〕教师将Let’s learn 局部的单词卡举起，带读，学生以“开火车〞的形式练习。
如果可能，可以让学生拼读单词。
如：t-a-l-l,tall.〔2〕Let’s do 局部的内容。

本课的主题是“animals，”教师利用Let 'sc hant 热身，激发学生的元认知；介绍主线人物Baymax,创设去动物园的真实情境，利用听力语篇整体呈现词汇，在词汇的新授过程中，教师注重滚动旧知，以图片及视频的形式丰富词汇的音义形；接着，设置各种小游戏，巩固学生辨认及运用词汇的能力；通过绘本阅读，进步挖掘词汇的内涵意义，并在此基础上进行说的运用。

二、教学背景分析1.内容分析：本课的教学内容是人教版《英语》三年级下册Unit 3At the Zoo A Let 's Learn 部分，本单元的主题是动物，通过学生去动物园，学习如何描述动物。
本课是第二时，是一节词汇课，主要是学习四个形容词：tall, short, thin, fat ，并能准确运用句型：Look at that ⋯It 来'描s 述⋯动物。
