Some people believe that reading is a critical part of learning and growth. 阅读造就你我
读书往往对一个人的成长和学习有着重要的影响。

在恰当的时间，阅读一本好书可以点燃思想的火花，让我们更加博闻强识，享受阅读。

作文类型：
1．对比选择—— b) 立场选择
立场选择类作文命题一般先指出一种有争议的现象、话题或观点，或是提出两种对立的观点或做法，然后要求考生表面自己的态度或看法。

立场选择类作文的写作重点在于对对立观点或做法的对比论证以及对个人立场的表达，可以采用如下行文思路：第一段：提出争议
指出争议现象、话题或观点，并阐述人们对其具体的争议。

阐述争议时简单提出对立观点或做法即可。

一般不在此展开论证。

第二段：对比论证
本段分别阐述争议双方的观点与理由，每种观点给出一至两点理由，不需要长篇大论。

本段论述要客观，不要掺杂个人观点，不应出现第一人称。

（本段内容较多，也可将双方的观点和理由分为两段来写）
第三段：表明个人观点
本段主要在对比分析两种观点的基础上表达“我”的看法，尽量给出明确且积极的态度，并给出充分的理由。

On the Spring Festival Gala
In recent years, the Spring Festival Gala has aroused heated controversy. Some people take it for granted that it has been a usual practice for people to watch the Gala on the New Year’s Eve. However, others argue that the Gala should be replaced with some better programs.
Those who hold the first opinion believe the Gala does help create a happy festival atmosphere. They point out that cross talks and other comic performances always bring people laughter. However, still others have different preferences. In their opinion, the Gala, lasting for more than four hours, makes them feel bored. Besides, they consider the forms of most programs lack originality.
Weighing these two choices, I would rather choose the latter one. For one thing, the Gala is proved to be money consuming--- it costs too much but the programs come out unsatisfying. For another, if the Gala is cancelled, the producers may focus on producing some more original programs for public amusement. Considering these, I may reasonably conclude that the Spring Festival Gala should be cancelled.

Should the University Campus Be Open to Tourists?
When it comes to whether the university campus should be open to tourists, there is no complete agreement among people. Some people take it for granted that university campus should embrace tourists across the country. However, others maintain that the university campus should not be open to tourists.
Those who hold the first opinion believe that refusing tourists is contradicting to universities proclaimed spirit of openness. In addition, they insist that no university has the right to reject taxpayers to enter its grounds because it is public land. However, still others think differently. In their opinion, too many tourists will add a burden to the security department of the university. Besides, they argue that too many tourists will destroy the quiet environment and disturb students’normal study.
Weighing these two arguments, I prefer the former opinion. For one thing, by visiting the university, high school students can experience the campus atmosphere and be stimulated to make a better preparation for the college entrance exam. For another, a university is a public place and should embody the spirit of openness. Considering these, I may reasonably conclude that the university campus should welcome all tourists.
2. 观点论证类作文
论证观点类作文，就是要论证考试命题中隐含或直接给出的某种观点的的正确性。

论证观点类作文大体可以分为两类：一类是要求论证一个谚语或格言。

题目指令（Direction）中直接给出一个谚语、格言或通过引言引出一个论点，要求阐述其中的道理。

另一类是要求论证一种普遍的观点，提纲中经常先指出一种现象、做法或观点（大都与本文论点相矛盾），然后由此引出一种正确的观点，之后可能会直接要求论证该观点，也可能没有明确要求，但考生仍要对其进行论证。

两类论证观点类作文提纲的主要不同之处在于，前一种的论点是一句谚语或格言，后一种的论点则比较宽泛。

另外，前一种一般都是直接提出论点，后一种则一般会要求描述观点背景，再由此引出论点。

行文思路
第一段：提出观点
从引言或提纲交待的背景中引出要论证的观点，解释或强调观点中的道理。

第二段：论证观点
本段是文章的重心。

我们可以从两三个方面对观点展开论述：也可举出具体的事例，尽量避免空洞的说教；还可使用类比论证法，即通过打比方来论证一个抽象的道理。

总之，论据要充分，不能简单重复观点，最好适当结合实例。

举例时，可举两到三个例子，选取一两个适当展开。

也可以只举一个例子，详细展开论证。

第三段：重申观点
本段可以重申观点，强调其重要意义或指出需要注意的地方。

重申观点时注意适当变换用词或句式。

Nothing Succeeds Without a Strong Will
We often hear the humorous saying “Quitting smoking is the easiest thing in the world. I’ve done it hundreds of times.” It tells us that without a strong will, nothing succeeds. The truth of it is deep and profound.
There are many factors supporting this argument. Undoubtedly, a strong will is essential if we want to achieve our goals. Every success involves several stages of setbacks and risks, and we need to summon up our will to overcome them. Moreover, there are enormous temptations in out path of pursuing success. For example, when we plan to quit smoking , our roommates may smoke freely in front of us; when we are eager to keep fit, our close friends may invite us to have late night snacks. So only with a strong will can we resist temptations, and persist in chasing our goals until we reach them.
All mentioned above tells us that dream will not come true if we do not have strong will. As the saying goes where there is a will, there is a way. Therefore, we should keep fighting to get what we want.

Undoubtedly, being honest is not only beneficial to others but also to ourselves. If you are honest, you will win trust and respect from others. Furthermore, honesty can help build up a more stable and harmonious society. For example, Singapore, which is a society of trustworthiness and integrity, has a comparatively low criminal rate.
