学英语幼儿比大学生厉害
牙牙学语的幼儿园小朋友也开始上英语兴趣班,还能够用英语绘声绘色地讲童话故事。

在南京花样繁多的辅导班中,家长选择英语培训班的频率是最高的。

让学龄前孩子接触英语已经在南京家长中流行起来,甚至有早教机构也采取全英语教学,难道这只是家长的虚荣心作怪?幼儿该不该学英语?几岁开始学比较好?小宝宝学英语会不会出现母语学不好英语也只学个半桶水的情况?南京新东方
泡泡英语少儿组组长黄华认为,9岁前是孩子学习语言的敏感期,这个时候孩子学习语言的能力远远超过成年人。

大学生的语言学习能力可能都比不上这个阶段的孩子。

有中文表达能力后再学英语
有的妈妈认为,孩子从一出生就该开始学英语,但是也有人担心过早学英语会让孩子混乱。

黄华认为,9岁前是孩子学习语言的敏感期,随着年龄的增长敏感度下降,孩子到了12岁时语言敏感性就基本与成人相仿。

所以在幼儿时期对孩子的英语启蒙是非常重要的。

0—9岁是孩子语言发育的敏感期,但每个孩子的个体差异非常大,有的语
言能力发展得快一些、有的则慢一些。

黄华认为,通常4岁以内更为关键,这时最好不要给孩子太复杂的语言环境,父母要把握一个原则,就是要先学好母语,在孩子有了一定的口头语言表达能力之后,再开始让他接触外语,否则会搅乱其语言系统,造成孩子混淆语言概念,导致语言发育迟缓。

孩子4岁以后,语言发育已经比较成熟,家长可以适当地创设一个学习外语的环境,让孩子接触英语。

黄华老师认为,这个阶段,家长要认识到,培养孩子学英语的兴趣是最重要的,而不是很多家长希望的孩子能认识多少单词等等。

在泡泡英语,针对低龄的孩子,都是通过对话,歌曲歌谣,打孔剪纸活动,贴纸和视频让孩子们来自信地学习英文。

通过有趣的适宜学龄前儿童的练习活动可以培养孩子听说读写的技能。

全方位激发孩子语言,音乐,运动,视觉感知,自我认识,人际等智能发展。

面对越小的孩子老师的作用越大
黄华老师认为,越小的孩子对老师的依赖性越大。

所以,家长在挑选学英语的机构的时候,特别要注意机构的老师的素质。

“对于幼儿来说,老师决定着孩子学英语的好坏,这个阶段的孩子学到标准的发音是很重要的。

所以家长在选择机构的时候要看看老师是不是有资格证,机构是不是定期为老师安排国内外的培训等等”。

对于外教,黄华老师说,“不是说中文的人就能教语文,这句话用在外教身上同样合适。

不是说英文的人就能教英语。

外教也要了解中国文化,了解中国孩子的语言学习习惯”。

每天给孩子15分钟接触英语
孩子平时在家中到底花多少时间学英语比较好?黄华老师建议,对于幼儿来说,每天15分钟的英语接触时间就够了。

“这主要是让孩子养成学习英语的习惯”。

比如给他听一些录音、儿歌、看原版动画片,能听进去多少就听多少,如果孩子有兴趣跟着模仿,家长可因势利导,不过这完全是游戏性的。

家长不要让孩子的耳朵“偷懒”。

刚开始的时候,家长也可以在孩子日常生活的间隙多放放儿童英语歌曲录音给他听(比如早晨起来洗脸刷牙的时段、在家玩耍的时候)。

让耳朵多接触接触英语,一来可以培养孩子对英语的语感,二来也避免了因长期不听英语而使耳朵对英语麻木。

有些家长担心,自己的英语并不是很好,发音也不是很准,会不会影响孩子学英语的效果。

黄华老师认为,家长这样的忧虑是正常的,如果没有英语语言环境的家庭,家长长期对孩子说不标准的英语,孩子的确是会学出来一口像家长一样发音的英语。

”新东方邝老师认为,如果家长的英语不是很好,只要孩子在英语听的能力上有比较好的环境就行了,例如可以给孩子听些英文CD,看迪斯尼的动画片等等,让孩子自己模仿。

选择一本好教材
对于6岁以后,上小学的孩子,家长要注意给孩子选择一本好的教材。

黄华介绍,挑选教材的时候一定要考虑到这个年龄段孩子的特质和兴趣。

比如泡泡英语的朗文少儿英语课程系列就是将《朗文少儿语音》和《朗文少儿英语》整合在一起以全语言教学法、TPR教学法、情景交际法和任务教学法为主,强调课堂任务真实化、学员主导化的教学模式。

黄华老师认为,家长可以挑选的教材既包括书报、画册,也包括录音、录像和电视节目。

选教材是应注意:要选择符合孩子认知程度的教材,程度要适当,太简单会停滞孩子的学习,太难会让他们有挫折感。

要选择贴近生活主题的教材,观察孩子的兴趣,投其所好。

假设他喜欢车子,就选择有车子的教材;假设喜欢水果,就选择有水果的教材,以此类推,让孩子将生活与英语结合在一起。

要选择好玩的教材,让他能够操作的、幽默的、能够游戏的、压力小及趣味高的,而且记住不要一直把学习当作前提,只要孩子觉得好玩就会学习,没有兴趣当然不想接触。
