When I was in primary school, my English teacher Miss Green told us a story. Through the story, she wanted to tell us that there is always a solution to every problem, kept that in mind.
One day, when I returned home, I found that my father was unhappy. When I asked him why, he told me that he lost his watch when he was working in the garden. He had looked for it everywhere but couldn't find it. He had also asked my two elder brothers to help, but they failed ,too.
That watch was very important to my father because it was a gift from my late (已故的) grandfather. "Don't worry, Dad. I'll help you find it,"I said. But my father didn't believe it. If you look at the top of your phone, you will usually see a little symbol that says 3G or
4G. The “G” stands for the “generation”（代）of you mobile network（网络）. But these symbols will mean（意味着）that things of the past after 5G network fully arrives.
The 5G mobile network is 100 times faster and has 1, 000 times more capacity（容）compared with the 4G mobile network.
In recent years, China pays great attention to the commercial（商业）use of 5G and tries to build the infrastructure（基础设施）for a 5G network. 5G will let people download and upload data（数据）faster than ever before. But 5G will not just bring faster mobile Internet. People can use it for many other things, too. For example, 5G will help to make self-driving cars safer. Today’s self-driving test cars has one problem—the lag（滞后）. When the car “sees” an obstacle, it sends this information to a data center and gets instructions（指示）.
However, it takes time to send and get this information. With this kind of lag, the cars might crash（撞击）because they don’t get instructions in time. With 5G, this lag will be greatly reduced（减少）and make the cars safer.
5G could also be used to make the Internet of Things（IOT）stronger. This refers to a large online network that connects（联系）all things and people. Fast Internet speeds（速度）will be the key to developing this technology（技术）.
