After many great battles especially a huge victory at Mount Badon, the Saxons' advance was halted. •Following with the unity of Great Britain,Arthur married queen Guenevere. The Death Of King Arthur
Unfortunately,things between Arthur and Morgan was known by Queen Guinevere,and maybe out of revenge,Guinevere fell in spiritual love with her guard Lancelot, which was then exposed.Lancelot escaped to France and established his owned territory.When Arthur sentenced Guinevere to death, Lancelot saved her and killed many knights,most of whom are his previous comrades.But finally he returned Guinevere back. Gawaine was once Lancelot’s best friend,but Lancelot killed his dearest brothers to save Guinevere,making them turn into enemies.At Gawaine’s instigation,Arthur dispatched the troops and crusaded against France.

However, these were very troubled times and Merlin, a wise magician, advised that the baby Arthur should be raised in a secret place and that none should know his true identity. •As Merlin feared, when King Uther died there was great conflict over who should be the next king. Due to violation of the spirit of knight,the sword of the stone was fractured,in the duel with King Pellinore. Arthur was regret for the lost of it.Then the magic Merlin led him to the lake. He got another sword from the fairy in the lake,named “the sword of the king”—— Excalibur. The power of Excalibur is not how sharp the body is,but in its scabbard,taking which, you will not bleed.
The Holy Grail(圣杯)
As peace settled over the country ,one day in a meeting around the table,the golden holy grail suddenly came into Kinghts’sight,bringing all of them the most pleasant experience,and then vanished .Hence,knights left the castle to find the holy grail,which is believed to contain the holy blood of Jesus and can achieve any wish.But many knights never return.Thus,with the reduction of knights,the powerful country was going downhill. It is said that only three knights finally find the holy grail:Galahad, Percivale(帕西法尔), Bors(鲍斯）.As Galahad was the purest knight in the world,only he can hold the holy grail.In the end, the angel took him to the heaven as he wanted.
