Unit 8 When is your birthday?Section A 1a-2c 教学重难点教材分析1.内容分析:本课是人教版七年级上册第八单元的内容。

“When is your birthday?”是本单元的核心话题,谈论人的出生日期,主要学习序数词的构成以及运用序数词表示日期的方法,When 引导的特殊疑问句询问日期以及名词所有格的构成和使用。

Section A是本单元的重点部分,也是核心教学内容,为口语练习课,主要学习日期的询问与表达;通过谈论自己、同学以及家人的生日,理解生日的更多含义。

它上承第七单元的数字教学,下承Section B与以后有关日期的英语教学。

因此,本部分是前后知识的载体,在本单元以及今后的英语学习中都占有重要的地位。

由于本单元的主题是“生日”,与生活联系非常紧密,教师要充分开发课程资源,结合实际,尽量让学生参与到课堂中,发挥他们的积极性和主动性,力图使学生自己输入的语言与信息成为主要教学资源,并成为整个学习过程的中心,真正做到“在用中学,在学中用,学以致用”。

2.学情分析:本单元的主题是询问和谈论日期,围绕这一主题进行一系列的交际活动,使学生掌握日期的表达法,正确使用 when引导的特殊疑问句对日期进行询问。

在学习日期的表达法时是学生不仅要记忆较长的月份名词,还要运用刚学过的序数词。

尽管上一单元学生学习了基数词,但是两者之间的发音和书写均不相同,学生掌握起来有一定的难度。

这就要求教师在备课的时候要充分考虑学生的学情,多设梯度,降低难度。

首先,各位老师肯定了我的上课思路,整堂课能够很好的完成教学目标。

其次,各位老师为我提出了宝贵的改进意见,现将我的反思心得与大家分享。

一、学习英语的主要目的是培养学生的语言技能,运用语言的能力,因此教师要转变观念,培养学生的能力。

其次,要向以人为本转化。

二.深挖教材。

一方面要面对全体学生突出知识重点,狠抓基础,另一方面要注意了解和分析每个学生的具体实际情况,可适当扩展相关英语文化背景知识,提高学生们对英语学习的积极性,扩展知识面。

三、英语学习应改变传统的应试教育的观点,摆脱哑巴英语。

每堂课安排几分钟时间进行会话练习,让学生进行Pair Work,自由地用英语交谈,要求学生根据课文内容适当进行增减,要模仿原文又能够自由发挥。

鼓励学生大胆将语言运用于实践,让学生懂得如何在实际中对语言的使用。

并及时给予表扬肯定,以增强他们的自信心。

四、辅优扶困做得很不到位。

英语学习的两极分化现象,是令我们英语老师最头痛的。

今后的主要精力课堂上要照顾大部分中等生和后进生身上,课下多找些资料给优秀生去指导,去向他们提更高的要求。

在教学过程中给予更多的关注与关心,持续地给予他们精神上的鼓励,积极帮助他们重树学好英语的信心,在课堂设计上更多的向后进生倾斜,并努力取得学生家长的配合。

总之,采取一切措施控制并缩小班级内英语学习后进生的数量,并非完全不可能的事情。

五、注意培养学生英语自学能力,提高学生的兴趣。

在平时的教学活动中,单一、呆板的教学方法容易使学生失去学习的兴趣,让学生做到听、说、读、写并举,眼、耳、口、鼻、脑并用,是激发学生学好英语的关键。

因此,英语教师必须运用多元化的教学方法,激发每个学生的学习兴趣,能让他们喜欢英语。

在以后的英语教学过程中,我会多听取宝贵意见,及时进行自我反思,在实践教学中不断完善自己教学水平,争取有更大的提高。
