People who consistently commit themselves to help those who are in great trouble will be well respected and acknowledged by the whole society. A paramount paradigm is Liu Li, a migrant worker in Xiamen City honored by CCTV—1 as "the most beautiful foot massagist", who touches hearts by reaching out to students in dire need of help. Over the past 8 years, she has donated (contributed) large sums of money to help 52 students to (fulfill) realize their "college" dreams. Coming through misundertandings ensued from society and from her family, she quickly pulled herself together.[选]While leading a life of simplicity, she never gives up studying and offering help to financially—challenged students. Dear Editor,

Our country has launched a ban on smoking in airports, railway stations and any other public places, but few expect it to have much of such an impact in some areas. This is partly due to the fact that China is a country with large numbers of smokers. Not surprisingly, the ban is getting into an embarrassing situation,( although this nationwide smoke—free campaign is designed ti bring our country more in line with health regulations in developed countrise .)Give all this ,some (drastic) legislative measures should be taken to keep our country (more healthy) healthier. Not only must a nationwide public awareness to promote the ban be greatly enhanced, but penalties should also be enforced in the light of rules and regulations concerned.Somking in the public places not only does great harm to our health but also pollutes environment ,so the government's restriction on somking is of great necessing and importance to all of us.
