(六）写作

下面以2016年上海英语高考作文题为例，分析学生习作中常见的问题。题目如下：假如你是中华中学的一名中学生，最近你正在参与一个研究性学校调查研究，调查课题

为“关于父母是否对孩子感到骄傲”。

1.简要描述这些数据。

2.分析该原因。

问题1:不切主题、遗漏信息

在英语作文中，常见由于审题不清所造成的离题或偏题、内容缺失等现象。

【Sample 1 】

A survey has been conducted recently and the result shows that only 60% of the children think that they are the prides of their parents. The reasons for this phenomenon can be listed as follows.

这位学生只谈到了调查结果的一个方面，即60%的孩子认为自己是父母的骄傲，而遗漏了“80%的被调查的父母认为自己为孩子感到骄傲”这一重要信息。因此，后续原因分析就偏离了主题。

问题2:内容匮乏、表达不清

所写内容空洞、表达不清等是学生写作中常见的问题。

【Sample 2 】

The first reason is that children think their parents only focus on their academic achievements and they can hardly make their parents satisfied with the poor performance. In addition, children are not confident enough because of the heavy study pressure.

本文中的第二个原因表达不清，与所要说明的问题的关系不清，令人难以理解。

问题3:词汇单调、逻辑不清

学生作文中词不达意的现象并不少见;而阐述过程中也常出现由于语言或逻辑关系造成的混乱，直接影响写作效果。

【Sample 3 】

The reasons for this phenomenon can be listed as followed. Firstly, the reason for parents5 response is that they show great love to their children. Every child is a precious apple of parents’ eyes so they love their children very much. Secondly, the reason for children’s response is that they have too much pressure from study. They think parents pay too much attention to their study and they feel a great load on their minds.

文中相同句式the reason for ... is that重复出现，显得单调。as follows是固定搭配，但是学生往往容易写成as followed。最突出的问题是，本段中理由的阐述逻辑混乱，无法从文

章中看出理由与现象之间内在的关系.

除了以上问题之外，在英语写作中还需注意以下常见错误：

1.标点符号错误

在英语中，没有、。……和《》这四种标点符号。但由于受中文的影响，考生在写作文时，会出现误用汉语标点符号的现象。

2.词汇错误

要写好一篇作文来表达自己的思想必须要有足够的词汇量作为基础，但实际上很多考生由于掌握的词汇量不够，致使不能自如地表达自己的思想，影响了句子理解和整体效果。

3.句型和语法错误

高考作文中的一些语法错误主要是指由于受汉语影响而导致的时态不一致、主谓不一致、语序及词性错误等。

4.中式英语

受母语的影响，经常有硬译的现象，出现汉语式的英语或不完整的句子。

针对上述普遍存在的写作中的问题以及常见错误，建议在写作的不同阶段从以下几个方面人手：

1.写前阶段：仔细审题、激活思维、选择内容、列出提纲

高考英语写作是guided writing，在题目中对写作的内容都提出了明确的要求。仔细审题则有助于考生明确作文的主题、内容、问题和语言要求。

还是以2016年上海英语高考作文题为例。

根据题目要求，简要描述调查数据并分析原因。可以理出提纲：

(1)Brief description of the survey result

(2)Reasons for the phenomenon

Parents：conservative, not used to conveying feelings in an open way Children：pressure from study lead to their underestimate of themselves

(3)Conclusion：communication is important

本提纲明确了写作的两部分内容：数据描述和原因分析，并且帮助作者把原因分析的重点落在了导致数据的差异这一点上。这样的提纲能帮助考生紧扣题目要求，筛选内容，抓住重点，有序地组织篇章。列提纲的过程，就是考生理解题意、理清思路、做出选择的过程。提纲不仅有助于写作时组织内容，还可以用作完成写作后自我修正作文的对照标准。

由此可见，审题和确定写作提纲可避免偏题、语篇布局不当，是确保作文质量的一个不可或缺的重要环节和步骤。要注意的是，所列提纲不必烦琐，只需用简单的语言（单词或短语）表示。

2.写中阶段：围绕内容、选择语言、注意连贯、恰当表达

要写出一篇好文章，除了谋篇布局之外，语言是关键。所用的语言要贴切，才能准确表达你的观点、看法与情感。还是以2016年上海英语高考作文题为例。

【Sample 4 】

A survey conducted recently indicates that 80% of the parents are proud of their children, with 20% more than the children who consider themselves as prides of their parents.

(分析：在本段中，该生通过简单的一句话清晰地反映了数据，并关注到了父母和孩子在数据上的差异，为后面的原因分析埋下了伏笔。）

The subtle difference may result from two reasons. First, Chinese parents tend to be conservative and they are not used to expressing directly how much they are proud of their children even though they really do a good job.
