My Family and My Flat

I live in a flat in a building. The building is very modern. There are about ten floors and I live on the top floor. I think my flat is very wonderful. The dining room is next to the kitchen. We always have dinner there, and my mother often cooks some delic ious food for us. I can’t cook, but I often help Mum wash the dishes. Sometimes my friends come to my flat and they teach me how to cook. So now, I can cook something for my family. I like the sofa in my sitting room. It is very comfortable and it is purple. What a nice color! The bathroom with a bath and a shower has a mirror. It is in the shape of star. There are four members in my family. They are my father, my mother, my brother and I. My parents work hard. They are very tired and I think they should have a good sleep. So the bedroom is the best place. My younger brother is only six years old. I love him even though he troubles me some times. In my bedroom, there are lots of posters of Angela on the wall. Angela is my favorite super star. She is beautiful. There is a garden in the district. Y ou can go walking there. I also want to tell you about my dream home. It is near a sea. It’s made of wood. Maybe that will come true.

That kitty is a cat thing

Oh, I don't think of myself as funny. I've heard friends say that kitty is a cat thing [an interview with E. Lynn Harris]. The weight thing is something that deep in my mind I always feel I battle with, and it's amazing that I'm not anorexic. It's funny, people will come up to me at signings, mostly women, and say, "oh you're so much better looking than your picture." I remember, in Brooklyn one afternoon, one lady came up to me and said, "oh you look great, lost some weight, makes you look younger." And ten minutes later someone else said "oh, you must be doing all fight, you picked up a little weight." (Laughter.) It's always going to be a battle with me, even though I exercise every day. That's where the biscuit line came up. The invading line had to do with how men sometimes make sex such a statement of anger with each other, and Basil was mad at Martin, and he wanted to show, you know, I'm in control, I'm the man, and that army reference is more of a macho thing. That's the way Basil would think, not necessarily the way I would think.

Once upon a time ，there was an old man lived lonely in a small town, he was a good man .And one day, a young man came to him and said:” Help me! I am very hungry, please give

me some food.” The old man smiled and gave him some food. The young man ate the

Food, then he left without saying "thank you”. The next day, the same thing happened

and the follow days. After a week, when the young man wanted left, the old man

stopped him, the Y oung man thought for a while and then he asked:” Do you want money? I

do not have money。The old man said:"No.I do not want any money. I just want you say: THANK YOU!"
