恒电位控制箱的主要作用是通过辅助

阳极经海水介质向船体输出保护电流，

并自动调节保护电流的大小，使船体的水下部分处于保护状态。

The function of control panel is to P r o v i d e d i r e c t e d c u r r e n t t o protection system of ship hull, and adjust the protection current value automatically, therefore the ship hull shall be protected all time.

辅助阳极 /Auxiliary anode

辅助阳极与恒电位控制箱的正极相连，安装于船体外弦，经海水介质向船体施加保护电流 。Auxiliary anode mounted on the outer hull of ship. It connected with the positive pole of potentiostat and applied the protected current to ship hull via seawater.

参比电极 /Reference electrode

参比电极的作用是测量被保护体电位并向恒电位仪提供设定保护电位与实测电位之间的比较信号，供恒电位仪自动控制之用，使船体始终处于保护状态。

R e f e r e n c e e l e c t r o d e i s u s e d t o measure the potential of protected ship huall and provide the comparison signals between the preset protective potential and actual potential to potentiostat for its automatic control, and thus the ship hull is always in the protection status.

阳极屏蔽层/ Anode shield

在外加电流阴极保护系统通电时，从辅助

阳极排出电流量很大。为使辅助阳极输出的电流不在阳极附近短路并能到达最远处的船体，必须在周围一定范围内涂刷阳极屏蔽层。

W h e n t h e i m p r e s s e d c u r r e n t c a t h o d e protection system is energized, the output current from the auxiliary anode is very large. In order to ensure that the current output from auxiliary anode doesn’t short near the anode and reaches the furthermost parts of ship hull, dielectric shield coating should be applied around the anode within a certain

range.
