Abstract:Ultra high speed cutting is one of the main trends of cutting machinery and an important development direction of advanced manufacturing technology.The mechanism and characteristic of ultra high speed cutting are introducted ,the development and the application realms at home and abroad are discussed ,the key technologies are analyzed ,and the develoment technology of ultra high speed cutting is prospected .
