6车道高速公路标准, 设计速度100km/h, 设计使用寿命120年。
The HZMB project is designed up to 6 lane highway criterion, design speed is 100Km/h and design service life is 120 years.
按照可靠度理论进行耐久性设计,确保港珠澳大桥混凝土结构在 120年内不产生耐久性失效的保证率≧ 95%。
Durability design is as per reliability theory to guarantee the durability failure probability of HZMB concrete structure is below 5% in 120 years’ design service life.

穿越伶仃西航道和铜鼓航道采用沉管隧道的方式,长约6km。
HZMB project goes through the Ling-Ding West Channel and Tong-Gu Channel with Immersed Tunnel, which is about 6Km in length.

首次采用钢管复合桩基础,每 墩6根桩基础(直径2.2米-2.0 米)。
First use of steel pipe composite pile foundation, each pier is furnished with 6 piles (2.2-2.0m in diameter).

隧道两端各设置一个海中人工岛,每个人工岛长约625m。
Two artificial islands which are both 625m long are constructed at each end of the immersed tunnel respectively.

Until now the detailed design of main works of HZMB project has been finished and technical design of bridge engineering is in progress.
计划2010年6月进行岛隧设计施工总承包招标;8月进行桥梁工程、 交通工程等施工图设计招标;2011年底进行桥梁工程施工招标。
全部工程包括珠海、澳门接线,珠海澳门口岸,海中主体工程,香 港接线及香港口岸,总长约50公里,总投资约729亿。
The HZMB project consists of Zhuhai, Macau Side Links, Zhuhai-Macau BCF artificial Island, Main Bridge Project, Hong Kong Side Link and Hong Kong BCF, which is 50Km in length and total investment is 72.9 billion RMB.
2010年4月1日获得交通运输部关于初步设计的批复。
On 1st April 2010, the preliminary design of HZMB was approved by Ministry of Transport.

青州航道桥推荐方案采用中国结塔双索面钢箱梁斜拉桥
It is scheduled to start tender for island-tunnel design-build contract in June 2010; and in August, tender for construction drawing design of bridge engineering and traffic engineering, and tender for bridge construction will be at the end of 2011.

The recommended Jiuzhou Channel Bridge is double-tower-singlecolumn central cable plane steel box girder cable-stayed bridge.
The recommended Qingzhou Channel Bridge is “Chinese Knot” tower with double cable planes steel box girder cable-stayed bridge.

HZMB project connects Guangdong Province, Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Zones which have different political systems, and jointly funded by Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau special Administrative Zones.
2009年10月19日获得国务院对工程可行性研究报告的批复。
On 19th Oct 2009, the feasibility study report of HZMB was approved by the state council .
2009年12月15日港珠澳大桥工程开工。
On 15th December 2009, construction of HMZB commenced.
基于全寿命周期成本管理要求的设计方法。
Design method of HZMB project is based on whole life cycle cost management requirements.
环保设计(严格控制阻水比和对白海豚的干扰等)。
Environmental design (Water blockage ratio and disturbance to white dolphin are strictly controlled).

江海直达船航道桥推荐方案为三塔独柱中央索面钢箱梁斜拉桥
The recommended concept for Jiang-Hai Channel Bridge is three-towersingle-column central cable plane steel box girder cable stayed bridge.
Single steel box girder continuous frame, 110m span and 6 spans for each frame, total length is 14.22m.
为配合单墩布置,推荐方案为单箱双室钢箱梁,大悬臂结构
In coordination with distribution of single pier, single-box-double-cellular steel girder option with large cantilever option is recommended.
港珠澳大桥主体工程长约29.6km,深水区非通航孔桥14.22km、 浅水区非通航孔桥5.24公里、青州航道桥930m、江海直达航道桥 774m、九洲航道桥693m、以及两座人工岛连接桥,一座口岸连 接桥,桥梁共长约22.8km。
The main work of HZMB is 29.6Km long, of which 14.75Km and 5.44Km are non-navigational deep/shallow water bridges respectively, Qingzhou channel bridge 930m, Jiang-hai channel bridge 774m, Jiuzhou channel bridge 693m, two bridges connecting two artificial islands as well as the bridge connecting the BCF artificial island, and the total bridge is 22.8Km in length.

HZMB project is a huge project in succession of the Three-gorges, Qinghai-Tibet Railway, South-to-North Water Diversion and BeijingShanghai High Speed Railway Projects.
The whole project is scheduled to be finished at the end of 2016.
