The overview of my hometown •My hometown is

located in Zhoukou

City,which is in the

southeast of Henan

Province.Zhoukou is a

very old and beautiful

city. Thousands of

people from all over

the country come to

Zhoukou to visit it.

•Now let me give you some general introduction to its old history and current development. Here are its some famous people、places.

The History of Zhoukou •Zhoukou has a very long history,in ancient times,Three Emperors and Five Sovereigns once lived here.And it was well known as The Chinese Pioneers and Miracles of Kyushu.

Fu Hsi

In honor of Fu Hsi,offspring made the statues of Fu Hsi and built the temples.

• A legend is that nuwa

kneading earth.

•this statue is located in

the Xihua county ,

which is a town of

Zhoukou .

Butian Stone.

emperors, is also

considered to be one

ancestor of the

Chinese nation. It is

affirmed to be born in

Hill (now in xinzheng,

Henan)

Lao-tzu •Lao-tzu, he is a great ancient Chinese philosopher and

thinkers, the founder

of Taoist school, "

his works is the simple dialectics,and goes

against nature

•However, Zhoukou is a place everyone want to invade in each war,so it went through many cruel wars. The recent suffering is that Japan invade China in 1937,then Jiang Jieshi ordered his men to blew up the Yellow River in order to stop Japanese troops to go to the south China. •Millions of people were forced to leave home away from the flood.
