• While many praise the glass structure, just as many are troubled by the incongruity（不协 调） to the original, more traditional museum that still sits directly beside it.

• It‘s hard to know whether the honeycomb-pattern mesh that coats the outside of this library enhances or worsens this bizarre structure. It’s been said that when the building first opened, some thought the giant net-like feature was actually scaffolding（给·· ·搭脚手架）.
10、Ryugyong Hotel; Pyongyang, North Korea.
• Riddled（充斥的） with issues that range from lack of money to poor construction to rumored （倒塌） collapse（谣 传）, this still unfinished nightmare (恶梦）has been under some form of construction for over 20 years.
5、 Federation Square; Melbourne, Australia.
• Frenzied（狂乱的） and overly complicated, the chaotic（混乱的） feel of the complex is made worse by a web of unsightly wires（电线） from which overhead lights dangle摇 晃地悬挂着）.

• Looking at the grim,impersonal faç ade of this oncethriving（一度兴旺的） theater, it's hard to believe its stage once hosted the likes of Katharine Hepburn and George C. Scott.
6、Petrobras Headquarters; Riቤተ መጻሕፍቲ ባይዱ de Janeiro, Brazil.
• This block-like structure which occupies a regrettably prominent（突出的） place in the city‘s downtown area. To make matters worse, exterior （外部的） slats （板条） give the illusion（错觉） that the building is actually falling apart.

• When looking at the primary color-coded(五颜六色的） ducts（管道） constructed on the outside of this worldfamous museum, one quickly sees why these elements （元素） are usually hidden.

7、Markel Building; Richmond, Virginia, USA
• This futuristic（未来主 义的） building was in fact inspired by a baked potato served to the architect during a dinner for the American Institute of Architects. If only he'd been served fries instead.
2. Zizkov Television Tower; Prague, Czech Republic.
• While its ugliness could easily stand on its own, the installation （安置） of small, climbing babies by the artist David Cerný transformed this tower from an eyesore（眼中钉） to a head-shaker.
