The Lantern Festival is on January 15th on the
lunar calendar. The lunar January is the first month
of a year and 15th is the first day of full moon.

Laba Festival is a traditional Chinese festival and people will prepare the Laba congee（腊八粥） for dinner. 腊八节是中国传统的节日，人们在那天会吃腊八粥。
Double Seventh Festival
The Double Seventh Festival, on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month, is a traditional festival full of romance. It’s the traditional Valentine’s Day for Chinese. 第七阴历的元月7日，七夕节，是一个传统节日 充满浪漫。它是中国传统的情人节。
The Double Ninth Festival（重阳节）
It’s on September 9th, and people can enjoy chrysanthemum blooms. 九月九日是重阳节，人们可以观赏菊花。
Winter solstice is a very important solar term in Chinese Lunar calendar. It means the beginning of winter.
Mid-Autumn Day（中秋节）
Mid-autumn Day is August 15th on lunar calendar. As August 15th is exactly the middle of autumn, so it is called Mid-Autumn Day.
中秋节是在阴历8月15th。8月15th正是秋季的中期, 所以被称为中秋节。
Spring Festival is also the happiest time for
children, because they can get red envelope
containing money from the elder.
春节也是孩子们的快乐时光，因为他们可以从长辈
