Understanding

Understanding is a bridge between teachers and students. Once I copied my deskmate’s paper during an exam and handed it in. The next day, my teacher told the whole class about it. I lost face. I hate the teacher.

Days later, the teacher had a heart-to-heart talk with me. He said he could understand that I would like to be good. But to be good should depend on hard work. From then on, with his help, I became so interested in study that I made great progress.

I think understanding is an important part of our life. Understanding can make us successful. I know that, so I understand teachers better now.

Sports

Sports are more and more important in people’s lives. People do many kinds of sports, such as playing basketball, running, swimming, walking and so on.

I think it’s very important for students to do sports, too. I like doing sports very much. I often play basketball with my classmates on weekdays. Sometimes we run around the playground after school. I also go to school on foot every day. Doing these sports make me relax and keep me fit. Sports also keep me active in class and make me do better at my study.
