Soul Music(灵歌）
Soul music is a combination of R&B and gospel（黑人福音 音乐） and began in the late 1950s in the United States. It emphasis on vocalists and its merging of religious and secular themes(世俗主题）. Catchy rhythms（朗朗上口的旋律）, stressed by handclaps and extemporaneous(即兴的） body moves, are an important feature of soul music. Other characteristics are a call and response between the soloist and the chorus, and an especially tense vocal sound. The style also occasionally uses improvisational additions, twirls and auxiliary sounds.
