特点：

第一，亚裔是美国各族群中人员数量增长最快的族群。虽然现在亚裔还是美国四大族群（欧裔、非裔、拉美裔、亚裔）中最小的族群，目前有1821万人，占美国3亿1400万总人口的5.8%，但族群规模正在迅速扩大，增长速度最快，2010年当年新增亚裔移民43万，占新增移民总数的36%，首次在新增总量上超过了拉美裔。照此趋势下去，到本世纪下半页，亚裔极有可能会在规模上超过非裔和拉美裔，成为美国最大的少数民族族群。
