Part 1 My understanding of this lesson
• A. The analysis of the teaching material:
This lesson is a speaking passage. It plays a very important part in the English teaching of this unit. By studying this part, Ss can improve their listening and speaking ability, learn more about how to express one’s opinions. At the same time, we should get the students to understand some difficult sentences and some useful expressions. The Ss should do some listening, speaking and writing, too. Of course, the Ss should receive some moral education.

Part 3. Teaching steps
• Step 1 Greetings Greet the Ss as usual. Step 2. Revision 1. Ask students some questions to revise the last lesson. • In last lesson, we learned how to express prohibitions and warnings. For the grammar we learned the attributive clause (2) . • 2. Check the homework
