Patriotism is the soul of the Chinese nation and a powerful force mobilizing and uniting the whole nation to strive to revitalize China.
中国人民付出艰辛努力、作出巨大牺牲， 终于找到了实现中华民族伟大复兴的正 确道路和核心力量。这条正确道路就是 中国特色社会主义道路，这个核心力量 就是中国共产党。 The Chinese people eventually found them through painstaking efforts and enormous sacrifices. The correct path is the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and the core force is the Communist Party of China (CPC).

辛亥革命１００年来的历史表明，实现中华 民族发展进步，不仅需要安定团结的国内环 境，而且需要和平的国际环境。 The history of the 100 years since the Revolution of 1911 shows that the development and progress of the Chinese nation require not only a stable and united domestic environment but also a peaceful international environment.
同志们、朋友们！孙中山先生和辛亥革命先驱振 兴中华的宏愿，应该成为两岸同胞的共同追求。 孙中山先生曾经说过，“‘统一’是中国全体国 民的希望。能够统一，全国人民便享福；不能统 一，便要受害。” Comrades and friends, rejuvenating China, the cherished goal pursued by Dr. Sun Yat-sen and other pioneers of the Revolution of 1911, should be the common aspiration of all compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straits. Dr. Sun Yat-sen once said: “Unification is the hope of all Chinese people. If unification is achieved, the people will enjoy a happy life; if it is not, the people will suffer.”

中国特色社会主义道路，深刻总结近代中国一 切救亡图存、振兴中华的经验教训，符合我国 实际和时代要求，符合中国最广大人民根本利 益，符合中华民族根本利益。 The path of socialism with Chinese characteristics is based on historical lessons and experiences, accords with China’s realities and the demands of the times, and conforms to the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people and the fundamental interests of the Chinese nation.
促进两岸同胞密切交流合作，弘扬中华文化优秀 传统，增强休戚与共的民族认同，不断解决前进 道路上的各种问题，终结两岸对立，抚平历史创 伤，共同为实现中华民族伟大复兴而努力。 Efforts should be made to promote close exchanges and cooperationand to carry forward the fine traditions of the Chinese culture, enhance the sense of a common national identity, constantly resolve problems on the way ahead, end cross-Straits antagonisms, and heal wounds of the past and work together to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
