形容词和副词最高级

（一）形容词、副词最高级的构成：

1. 单音节词和少数双音节词最高级的规则变化：

规则原级最高级

1.在词尾后直接加-est tall tallest

2.词尾是e，只加-st nice nicest

3.以辅音字母加y结尾的，把y

happy happiest

变i再加-est

4.重读闭音节，末尾只有一个辅

thin thinnest

音字母，双写这个辅音字母，再

加-est

2. 其他双音节词或多音节词,在该词前面加-most

beautiful—(the) most beautiful

3. 不规则变化:

good/well best

bad/badly worst

many/much most

little least

far farthest/furthest

（二）最高级用法：

用于三者及以上的人或事物的比较（其中一个在某方面超过了其他几个）。形容词最高级前要用定冠词the，副词前可不用the。最高级一般要与表示比较范围的介词in或of连用。

1、主语+谓语(系动词)+the+形容词最高级+名词+表示范围的短语或从句。

She is the youngest of the students. 她是学生中年龄最小的。

She is the youngest in our class. 她是我们班里年龄最小的。

2、最高级如何用比较级表达

最高级She is the best in her class.

比较级She is better than any other student in her class.

3、“one of the+最高级+复数名词”表示“最……之一”的意思。例如：

Shanghai is one of the most beautiful cities in China. 上海是中国最美丽的城市之一。
