Money and happiness

Hello everyone,

Today I’m going to talk about money and happiness.

The bible says “the love of money is the root of all evil”. Some might say that “you cannot sell the cow and drink the milk”,therefore you cannot get the money and happiness in the same time. This is where I don’t agree with. With money you can do many things,but you can’t do everything;without money you can also do many things,but still you can’t do everything.

The question is whether with money or not you can do more things,and gain more happiness. In fact,there has been growing recognition that money is no doubt the most important basis of the happiness in the modern society. That is to say with money we can buy basic supplies for living, improve our material life ,get some entertainment and maybe satisfy part of our spiritual needs.

My mama always said to me: Shane, you should learn to love money,with money you can eat Haagen-Dazs everyday; shane, you should learn to love money,with money you can find a good girl; shane, you should learn to love money,with money you can get more happiness.

You may wonder what finally contribute to the happiness, okay, at least health,friendship,love and be trusted, I think. Do these factors above be connected with money? The answer is “YES”. With enough money you are able to get access to the best health care in the world;with enough money you are able to help more friends and thus strengthen the friendship between each other;with enough money you are able to please your lover more easily;with enough money you are able to be trusted by people around you ’coz you are considered to be capable. In a word,happiness is tightly connected with money.To some extent,we may draw the conclusion that money can buy the happiness.

From where I stand,I believe what my mama said.I love money, I love happiness.Maybe someday with money I will better serve the country,save the country.
