一、教材资源分析
本单元的核心教学内容是:“Are you Lingling?”要让学生从听、说、读三个方面掌握句型:Are you Lingling? Yes, I am. /No, I’m not .对于三年级的学生来说,已掌握了三个方面的简单话题:Glad to meet you ! Who are you? What’s you name? 对于这一句型“Are you Lingling ?”的出现,又对学生提出了新的要求,要顺利完成教学任务还是有一定的难度。
通过前面第一课时的学习,学生掌握了“Are you Lingling ?”这一句型的表达,并能根据情况作出肯定或否定回答。

二、教学目标
1、知识与能力
能听懂、会说日常交流用语:Are you Lingling ?并作回答:Yes , I am ./ No, I’m not .以及句型Where are you ? So glad to see you again.
2、过程与方法
教师采用:“游艺化”教学法使学生能阅读并表演课文D部分小故事,并以此初步培养学生的语音、语调,建立语感,逐步发展学生运用语言的能力。
3、情感态度与价值观
使学生意识到“Where are you ?”的失去朋友的急切心情,以及后来通过使用句型“Are you Tim ?”找到Tim的喜悦:So glad to see you again .激发和培养学生使用英语的热情,懂得珍惜朋友之间的友谊,增强学生团结、友爱意识。
三、设计思路
1、采用“游艺化”教学方法展开课堂教学,激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣。

教学磁带与英语歌曲磁带;人物卡片,故事图片与英语句子卡片;
数个自制小苹果;雨伞或其它障碍物。
五、教学步骤
Step 1 Warming up .(引入部分)
1.Play the music and let the Ss go into the classroom and sit down, please.
2.Greetings.
3. The teacher divides the students into two teams. Ask the Ss to look at
the blackboard and there are two apple trees for them. If someone wins,
he or she can get an apple and let him or her put on the apple in the
apple trees. Let’s see how many apple you have got.
4. Revision Play the game: Are you… ?
The teacher shows the pictures to the students and the students read
them. Call one of the students and ask the others read after her or him.
Then the teacher chooses any pictures. Let the students guess: Who am
I ? Help the students guess with the sentences: Are you … ? If he or she
wins, the teacher will give an apple to her or him. First, the teacher does,
and then let the students do by themselves.

1. When the Ss play games, suddenly, a picture drops off. So the teacher
have a look at it , and ask : Where’s Tim ?(Re peat three times) So the teacher is very worried about Tim , and asks and acts :Where are you , Tim ? Let the students help the teacher and imitate the sentence and act it. The teacher shows the card of the sentence to the students and read it, then, ask the students to read and act it one by one.
2. The teacher looks for Tim by using this sentence: Are you Tim? After a
while, the teacher finds Tim, and says loudly: So glad to see you again. So teach the sentence in the same way.
3.The teacher asks the students to look at the story on the blackboard. The
teacher says, who’s he? What’s happened? Help the students answer. Then let the students listen to the tape and repeat loudly.
4.The teacher finds the students a little tired , so play the tape for the students and let them sing and act .
Step3. Consolidation (活用)
1.Play the game ----Loud and low.
If the teacher says the sentences on the blackboard in a low voice, the students say it loudly, if the teacher says in a loud voice, the students say it in a low voice.
2.Play the game ----Response quickly.
The teacher says the sentences quickly, and asks two students to point to it.
Let’s see who is quicker.
3.Play the game ----Listen and choose .
The teacher puts down the English cards on the floor , and says English sentences quickly and asks two students to find it quickly , let’s who is the quicker one .
4.Act out the story .
a.For example, the teacher asks a student to hide, then the teacher
looks for him or her .
b. A student hides, a student looks for him or her.
c.Let the students make up a story freely.
d.Ask some pairs to act it out the story.
Step4. Summary
The class will be over. So the teacher asks the students to count how many apples they have got. Which one is the winner, Team 1 or Team 2?。
