美国生物工程专业的课程设置及申请要点美国生物工程专业(Bioengineering)通常我们习惯将生物工程(BE)和生物医学工程(BME)混为一谈,事实上从美国大学的院系设置也会看到,二者是相通的,研究方向会有很多重合,只不过院系名称不同而已。

但从原则上讲,二者是有区别的。

二者的侧重点不同。

生物工程是涉及医疗、制药、食品、农业、环保、轻工等有关人类衣食住行各个行业的新兴工程领域,是运用生物学、化学和工程学等学科相结合的方法,利用生物体生产人类需要的产品,改造生态系统和环境的应用技术体系。

它覆盖基因工程,生物信息学,生物反应器工程,生物分离工程,生物技术制药,农业及海洋生物工程,医用生物工程和生物工程管理。

由此可以看出,生物医学工程是包含在生物工程里的,只不过现代医学研究的快速发展,使大家更为关注医疗健康,故生物医学工程专业的关注度会更高一些。

美国生物工程专业包括五大工程,即遗传工程(基因工程)、细胞工程、微生物工程(发酵工程)、酶工程(生化工程)和生物反应器工程。

在这五大领域中,前两者作用是将常规菌(或动植物细胞株)作为特定遗传物质受体,使它们获得外来基因,成为能表达超远缘性状的新物种——“工程菌”或“工程细胞株”。

后三者的作用则是这一有巨大潜在价值的新物种创造良好的生长与繁殖条件,进行大规模的培养,以充分发挥其内在潜力,为人们提供巨大的经济效益和社会效益。

然而,研究发现,PBM 对细菌和炎症有双向调节现象,抗菌-促菌和抑炎-促炎在不同的试验条件下会发生变化。

近些年来,PBM 的临床应用受到越来越多的关注,特别是在抗菌领域,因为它是一种无创的策略,禁忌症少。

然而,由于双向调节效应,研究人员仍然对PBM 的应用方式存疑,必须根据其临床应用进行光照波长、剂量等参数的修改。

因此,本文总结了PBM 对细菌的双向调节效应,分析了这种双向调节效应产生的影响因素及其分子机制。

Photobiomodulation (PBM) iswidely used, especially in antimicrobial infection and improving inflammation. However, studies have found that PBM has a bidirectional regulation of bacteria and inflammation. Antibacterial and pro-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and pro-inflammatory will change under different experimental conditions. In recent years, the clinical applications of PBM have received more and more attentions, especially in the field of antibacterial, because it is a noninvasive strategy with few contraindications. However, due to the bidirectional regulatory effect, researchers still have doubts about the application mode of PBM, and the parameters such as light wavelength and dose must be modified according to its clinical application. Therefore, this paper summarizes the bidirectional regulation effects of PBM on bacteria, and analyzes the influencing factors and molecular mechanism of this bidi-rectional regulation effect. The bidirectional regulation effect of PBM on bacteria is affected by light wavelength, dose, bacterial category and bacterial state. A better understanding of the degree of bidirectional dose-response in low-intensity laser therapy is necessary to optimize clinical treatment.
