第一篇When our Eyes Serve our StomachOur senses aren't just delivering a strict view of what's going on in the word; they're affected by what's going on in our heads. A new study finds that hungry people see food-related words more clearly than people who've just eaten.Psychologists have known for decades that what's going on, inside our head affects our senses. For example, poorer children think coins are larger than they are, and hungry people think pictures of food are brighter, Remi Radel of University of Nice Sopbia-Antipolis, France, wanted to investigate how this happens. Does it happen right away as the brain receives signals from the eyes or a little later as the brain's high-level thinking processes get involved?Radel recruited 42 students with a normal body mass index. On the day of his or her rest, each student was told to arrive at the lab at noon after three or four hours of not eating. Then they were told there was a delay. Some were told to come back in 10 minutes; others were given an hour to get lunch first. So half the students were hungry when they did the experiment and the other half had just eaten. For the experiment, the participant looked at a computer screen. One by one, 80 words flashed on the screen for about 1/300th of a second each. They flashed at so small a size that the students could only consciously perceive. A quarter of the words were food-related. After each word, each person was asked how bright the word was and asked to choose which of two words they'd seena food-related word like cake or a neutral word like boat. Each word appeared too briefly for the participant to really read it.Hungry people saw the food-related words as brighter and were better at identifying food-related words. Because the word appeared too quickly for them to be reliably seen, this means that the difference is in perception not in thinking processes, Adel says."This is something great to me, Humans can really perceive what they need or what they strive for. From the experiment, I know that our brain can really be at the disposal of our motives and needs," Radel says.31、What does the new study mentioned in Paragraph 1 find____?A.Hungry people see every word more clearly than ordinary people.B.Hungry people are always thinking of food-related words.C.Hungry people are more sensitive to food-related words than stomach-fullpeople.D.Hungry people do not have lower-level of thinking process.32、What have psychologists known for a long time____ ?A.Poorer children think coins are larger than they are.B.Hungry people think pictures of food are brighter.C.Hungry people see food-related words more clearly.D.What we think inside our head affects what we sense.33、Why was there a delay on the day of the experiment____?A.Because hungry people needed time to fill their stomach.B.Because Radel wanted to create two groups of testees, hungry and non-hungry.C.Because noon was not the right time for any experiment.D.Because Radel needed time to select participants in terms of body mass index.34、What did the results of the experiment indicate____?A.80 words flashed on the screen too fast for the participant to intentionally perceive.B.Hungry people were better at identifying neutral words.C.People who had just eaten were better at identifying food-related words.D.The participants could barely perceive what they needed or what they strived for.35、What does the writer want to tell us____?A.Human's senses aren't just delivering a strict view of what's going on in the world.B.What's perceived by our senses affects onr way of thinking.C.Human brains can really be at the disposal of our motives and needs.D.Thinking processes guarantee the normal functions of our senses.根据材料,回答36-41问题第二篇Musical Robot Companion Enhances Listener ExperienceShimi, a musical companion developed by Georgia Tech's Center for Music Technology, recommends songs, dances to the beat and keeps the music pumping based on listener feedback. The smartphone-enabled (智能手机支持的), one-foot-tall robot is billed as an interactive"musical friend"."Shimi is designed to change the way that people enjoy and think about their music," said Professor Gil Weinberg, the robot's creator. He will unveil the robot at the June 27th Google I/O conference in San Francisco. A band of three Shimi robots will perform for guests, dancing in sync with music created in the lab and composed according to its movements.Shimi is essentially a docking station with a "brain" powered by an Android phone. Once docked the robot gains the sensing and musical generation capabilities of the user's mobile device. In other words, if there's an "app" for that, Shimi is ready. For instance, by using the phone's camera and face-detecting software, Shimi can follow a listener around the room and position its "ears", or speakers, for optimal sound. Another recognition feature is based on rhythm and tempo. If the user taps a beat, Shimi analyzes it, scans the phone's musical library and immediately plays the song that best matches the suggestions. Once the music starts, Shimi dances to the rhythm."Many people think that robots are limited by their programming instructions," said Music Technology Ph.D. candidate Mason Bretan, "Shimi shows us that robots can be creative andinteractive. " Future apps in the works will allow the user to shake their head in disagreement or wave a hand in the air to alert Shimi to skip to the next song or increase/decrease the volume. The robot will also have the capability to recommend new music based on the user's songchoices and provide feedback on the music play list.Weinberg hopes other developers will be inspired to create more apps to expand Shimi'screactive and interactive capabilities. "I believe that our center is ahead of a revolution that will see more robots in homes. " Weinberg said.Weinberg is in the process of commercializing Shimi through an exclusive licensing agreement with Georgia Tech. Weinberg hopes to make the robot available to consumers by the 2013 holiday season. "If robots are going to arrive in homes, we think that they will be this kind of machines -- small, entertaining and fun," Weinberg said. "They will enhance your life and pave the way for more intelligent service robots in our lives.36、Which of the following is NOT true according to the first three paragraphs____?A.Shimi is a one-foot tall robot.B.Shimi is the creator of the musical companion.C.Shimi is a docking station (对接站) with a "brain" powered by an Androidphone.D.Shimi can gain the sensing and musical generation capabilities of the user‘s mobile device.37、What does Shimi do if the user taps a beat____?A.It stores the beat in the musical library.B.It transmits the beat to the docking station.C.It positions its speakers for optimal sound.D.It selects a perfectly-matched song.38、Compared with those robber limited the programming, Shimi is____A.sameB.similarC.identicalD.different,39、What is the prediction of Weinberg about Shimi____?A.Shimi can be applied to all types of smart phones.B.Shimi will bring more fun to the human lives.C.himi will be appreciated by all users.D.Shimi will be commercialized by the end of 2012.40、What can we infer from the last paragraph____?A.The research center is developing a stronger and more versatile Shimi.B.Georgia Tech. will develop more apps for Shimi.C.Shimi is not yet technologically ready for commercialization.D.Robots such as Shimi are created for large corporations rather than homes.根据材料,回答41-46问题。

Keeping Cut Flowers1. While everybody enjoys fresh cut flowers around his house, few people know how to keep them for as long as possible. This may be done by keeping in mind a few simple facts.2. An important thing to remember about cut flowers is that they are sensitive to temperature. For example, studies have shown that cut carnations (康乃馨) retain their freshness eight, times longer when kept at 12~C than when kept at 26~C. Keeping freshly harvested flowers at the right temperatures is probably the most important aspect of flower care.3. Flowers are not intended by nature to live very long. Their biological purpose is simply to attract birds or insects, Such as bees, for pollination (授粉)fg). After that, they quickly dry up and die. The process by which flowers consume oxygen and produce carbon dioxide (二氧化碳), called respiration (呼吸), generates the energy the flower needs to give the flower its shape and colour. The making of seeds also depends on this energy. While all living things respire, flowers have a high level of respiration. A result of all this respiration is heat, and for flowers the level of heat relative to the mass of the flower is very high. Respiration also brings about the eventual death of the flower. Thus the greater the level of respiration, the sooner the flower dies.4. How, then, to control the rate at which flowers die? By controlling respiration. How is respiration controlled? By controlling temperature we know that respiration produces heat, but the reverse is also true. Thus by maintaining low temperatures, respiration is reduced and the cut flower will age more slowly.5. Another vital factor in keeping cut flowers is the quality of the water in which theyare placed. Flowers find it difficult to "drink" water that is dirty or otherwise polluted. Even when water looks and smells clean, it almost certainly contains harmful substances that can endanger the flowers. To rid the water of these unwanted substances, household chlorine bleach (含氯漂白剂) can be used in small quantities. It is recommended that 15 drops of chlorine bleach ( at 4% solution) be added to each litre of water. The water and solution should also be replaced each day.23、Paragraph 2___A.Control of RespirationB.Beauty of Fresh Cut FlowersC.Role of RespirationD.Most Important Aspect of Flower CareE.Need for Clean WaterF.Ways of Stopping Respiration24、 Paragraph 3___A.Control of RespirationB.Beauty of Fresh Cut FlowersC.Role of RespirationD.Most Important Aspect of Flower CareE.Need for Clean WaterF.Ways of Stopping Respiration25、 Paragraph 4___A.Control of RespirationB.Beauty of Fresh Cut FlowersC.Role of RespirationD.Most Important Aspect of Flower CareE.Need for Clean WaterF.Ways of Stopping Respiration26、 Paraoraph 5___A.Control of RespirationB.Beauty of Fresh Cut FlowersC.Role of RespirationD.Most Important Aspect of Flower CareE.Need for Clean WaterF.Ways of Stopping Respiration27、 A few simple facts will help you keep cut flowers____A.by keeping its original shape and colourB.in the life of the cut flowerC.to produce carbon dioxideD.for as long as possibleE.by controlling temperatureF.to replace the water and solution every day28、 Respiration plays a key role____A.by keeping its original shape and colourB.in the life of the cut flowerC.to produce carbon dioxideD.for as long as possibleE.by controlling temperatureF.to replace the water and solution every day29、 The aging of cut flowers can be slowed down____A.by keeping its original shape and colourB.in the life of the cut flowerC.to produce carbon dioxideD.for as long as possibleE.by controlling temperatureF.to replace the water and solution every day30、Another important way to prolong the life of cut flowers is____A.by keeping its original shape and colourB.in the life of the cut flowerC.to produce carbon dioxideD.for as long as possibleE.by controlling temperatureF.to replace the water and solution every day。

Stanford University1. Stanford University, famous as one of northern California's several institutions of higher learning, is sometimes called "the Harvard of the West". The closeness of Stanford to San Francisco, a city thirty-two miles to the north, gives the university a decidedly cosmopolitan(世界性的) flavor.2. The students are enrolled mainly from the western United States. But most of the fifty states send students to Stanford, and many foreign students study here, as well. And standards for admission remain high. Young men and women are selected to enter the university from the upper fifteen percent of their high school classes.3. Not only because of the high caliber (素质) of its students but also because of the desirable location and climate, Stanford has attracted to its faculty some of the world's most respected scholars. The university staff has included many Nobel prize winners such as Dr. Felix Bloch, Dr. Robert Hofstadter, and Dr. William Shockley in physics, Dr. Author Kornberg and Dr. Joshua Lederberg in medicine, and Dr. Paul J. Flory and Dr. Linus Pauling in chemistry. The Russian novelist Aleksandr Solzhenistsyn has been in residence. Stanford's undergraduate school of engineering and its graduate schools of business, law, and medicine are especially well-regarded.4. What is student life like on "The Farm"? Culturally, the campus is a magnet for both students and citizens of nearby communities. Plays, concerts, and operas are performed in the university's several auditoriums and in its outdoor theater, where graduations are also held.Several film series are presented during the school year. Guest lecturers from public and academic life frequently appear on campus. In the evenings, many students gather to socialize in the Student Union's coffee house; here the beverages (饮料) and the atmosphere both have a decidedly European flavor. For the sports-minded, the Stanford campus offers highly developed athletic facilities. Team spots, swimming, and track and field activity are all very much part of the Stanford picture. So are bicycling and jogging.5. In addition to financial support from alumni (校友), Stanford receives grants from the government and from private philanthropic (慈善的) foundations. In recent years, government grants have made possible advanced studies in the fields of history, psychology, education, and atomic energy. At present Stanford is carrying out an ambitious building program, financed in part by the Ford Foundation's 25 million grant. Recently added to the campus are a new physics building, new school of business, new graduate school of law, new student union, and undergraduate library.23、Paragraph 2____A.Colorful Life on CampusB.Intelligent Student BodyC.School AdministrationD.Distinguished FacultyE.Substantial Financial SupportF.he Harvard Of the West24、 Paragraph 3____A.Colorful Life on CampusB.Intelligent Student BodyC.School AdministrationD.Distinguished FacultyE.Substantial Financial SupportF.he Harvard Of the West25、 Paragraph 4____A.Colorful Life on CampusB.Intelligent Student BodyC.School AdministrationD.Distinguished FacultyE.Substantial Financial SupportF.he Harvard Of the West26、 Paragraph 5____A.Colorful Life on CampusB.Intelligent Student BodyC.School AdministrationD.Distinguished FacultyE.Substantial Financial SupportF.he Harvard Of the West27、 Those high school graduates who can enter Stanford University____A.they can find the best studentsB.the university’s academic advancement and physical extensionC.some of the most distinguished scholarsD.where a sports meet iS held every yearE.must have been the top stude nt’s in their classesF.must be hardworking28、 Many professors like to teach in this university partly because here____A.they can find the best studentsB.the university’s academic advancement and physical extensionC.some of the most distinguished scholarsD.where a sports meet iS held every yearE.must have been the top student’s in their classesF.must be hardworking29、 On the faculty of the university there are____A.they can find the best studentsB.the university’s academic advancement a nd physical extensionC.some of the most distinguished scholarsD.where a sports meet iS held every yearE.must have been the top student’s in their classesF.must be hardworking30、Financial support from both private organizations and the government has made possible____A.they can find the best studentsB.the university’s academic advancement and physical extensionC.some of the most distinguished scholarsD.where a sports meet iS held every yearE.must have been the top student’s in their class esF.must be hardworking。

Effects of Environmental PollutionIf pollution continues to increase at the present rate, formation of aerosols (浮质) in theatmosphere will cause the onset (开始) of an ice age in about fifty years' time. Thisconclusion, reached by Dr S. I. Rasool and Dr S. H. Schneider of the United States GoddardSpace Flight Centre, answers the apparently conflicting questions of whether an increase in thecarbon dioxide (二氧化碳) content of the atmosphere will cause the Earth to warm up orincreasing the aerosol content will cause it to cool down. The Americans have shownconclusively that the aerosol question is dominant. Two spectres haunting conservationists have been the prospect that environmental pollutionmight lead to the planet's becoming unbearably hot or cold. One of these ghosts has now beenlaid. because it seems that even an increase in the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphereto eight times its present value will produce an increase in temperature of only 2℃. whichwould take place over several thousand years. But the other problem now looms larger thanever.Aerosols are collections of small liquid or solid particles dispersed in air or some othermedium. The particles are all so tiny that each is composed of only a few hundred atoms.Because of this they can float in the air for a very long time. Perhaps the most commonlyexperienced aerosol is industrial smog (烟雾) of the kind that plagued London in the 1950sand is an even greater problem in Los Angeles today. These collections of aerosols reflect theSun's heat and thereby cause the Earth to cool.Dr. Rasool and Dr. Schneider have calculated the exact effect of a dust aerosol layerjustabove the Earth's surface in the temperature of the planet. As the layer builds up, the presentdelicate balance between the amount of heat absorbed from the Sun and the amount radiated fromthe Earth is disturbed. The aerosol layer not only reflects much of the Sun's light but alsotransmits the infrhred (红外线的) radiation from below. So, while the heat input to thesurface drops, the loss of heat remains high until the planet cools to a new balanced state.Within fifty years, if no steps are taken to stop the spread of aerosols in the atmosphere, acooling of the Earth by as much as 3.5℃. seems inevitable. If that lasts for only a few years itwould start another ice age, and because the growing ice caps at each pole would themselvesreflect much of the Sun's radiation it would probably continue to develop even if the aerosollayer were destroyed. The only bright spot in this gloomy forecast lies in the hope expressed by Dr. Rasool and Dr. Schneider that nuclear power may replace fossil fuels in time to prevent the aerosol contentof the atmosphere from becoming critical.31、The author's main purpose in writing the article is to warn of__________A.warm weatherB.hot weatherC.a new ice ageD.a new iceberg32、The word "spectres" in the second paragraph is closest in meaning to__________A.pollution.B.carbon dioxideC.aerosolsD.ghosts33、We learn from the third paragraph that__________A.London was plagued with rats in the 1950sB.London is covered with smog todayC.London was polluted by smog in the 1950sD.Los Angeles is as heavily polluted today as London was in the 1950s34、What will happen if the dust aerosol layer develops__________ ?A.The Earth will get extremely hot.B.The balance between the amount of heat absorbed from the Sun and the amount lost could hardly be maintained.C.The light of the Sun could no longer reach the surface of the Earth.D.Infrared radiation could no longer be transmitted from the Earth to outer space.35、The only way to stop the spread of aerosols in the atmosphere, according to Dr.Rasool and Dr. Schneider, is to use__________A.fossil fuelsB.electric powerC.nuclear energyD.coal power根据材料,回答36-41问题。

第一篇Valuing ChildhoodThe value of childhood is easily blurred ( 变得模糊不清) in today's world. Consider some recent developments. The child, murderers in the Jonesboro schoolyard shooting case were convicted and sentenced. Two boys, 7 and 8, were charged in the murder of an 11-year-old girl in Chicago.Children who commit horrible crimes appear to act of their own will. Yet, as legal proceedings in Jonesboro showed, the one boy who was able to address the court couldn't begin to explain his acts, though he tried to apologize. There may have been a motive youthful jealousy (妒忌) and resentment. But a deeper question remains: Why did these boys and others in similar trouble apparently lack any inner, moral restraint? That question echoes for the accused in Chicago, young as they are. They wanted the girl's bicycle, a selfish impulse common enough among kids.Redemption (拯救) is a practical necessity. How can value be restored to young lives distorted by acts of violence? The boys in Jonesboro and in Chicago will be confined in institutions for a relatively short time. Despite horror at what was done, children are not -- cannot be--dealt with as adults, not if a people wants to consider itself civilized. That's why politicians' cries for adult treatment of youthful criminals ultimately miss the point. But the moral void (真空) that invites violence has many sources. Family instability contributes, so does economic stress. That void, however, can be filled. The work starts with parents, who have to ask themselves whether they're doing enough to give their children a firm sense of right and wrong. Are they really monitoring their activities and their developing processes of thought?Schools, too, have a role in building character. So do youth organizations. So do youth enforcement agencies, which can do more to inform the young about laws, their meaning, and their observance (遵守).The goal, ultimately, is to allow all children a normal passage from childhood to adulthood (成年) , so that tragic gaps in moral judgement are less likely to occur. The relative few who fill such gaps with acts of violence hint at many others who don't go that far, but who lack the moral foundations childhood should provide-and which progressive human society relies on.31、 The two boys in Chicago were____A.shot.B.murdered.C.accused.D.sentenced.32、 The boys in Jonesboro and Chicago apparently lacked a sense of____A.right and wrongB.discipline.C.shame.D.safety.33、 According to politicians, when children commit crimes, they should be treated in the same way as____A.murderers.B.criminals.C.victims.D.adults.34、Which of the following does the writer cite as a source of moral void____?A.Official corruption.B.Social injustice.C.Family instability.D.Racial discrimination.35、Which of the statements is NOT true according to this passage____?A.Parents should strengthen moral instruction.B.Schools should help create a moral sense in children.w enforcement agencies should do more to help children understand laws.D.Youth organizations play no role in building character.根据材料,回答36-41问题。

Technology Transfer in GermanyWhen it comes to translating basic research into industrial success, few nations can match Germany. Since the 1940s, the nation's vast industrial base has been fed with a constant stream of new ideas and expertise from science. And though German prosperity (繁荣) has faltered (衰退) over the past decade because of the huge cost of unifying east and west as well as the global economic decline, it still has an enviable record for turning ideas into profit.Much of the reason for that success is the Fraunhofer Society, a network of research institutes that exists solely to solve industrial problems and create sought-after technologies. But today the Fraunhofer institutes have competition. Universities are taking an ever larger role in technology transfer, and technology parks are springing up all over. These efforts are being complemented by the federal programmes for pumping money into start-up companies.Such a strategy may sound like a recipe for economic success, but it is not without its critics. These people worry that favouring applied research will mean neglecting basic science, eventually starving industry of fresh ideas. If every scientist starts thinking like an entrepreneur (企业家), the argument goes, then the traditional principles of university research being curiosity-driven, free and widely available will suffer. 'Others claim that many of the programmes to promote technology transfer are a waste of money because half the small businesses that are promoted are bound to go bankrupt within a few years. While this debate continues, new ideas flow at a steady rate from Germany's research networks, which bear famous names such as Helmholtz, Max Planck and Leibniz. Yet it is the fourth network, the Fraunhofer Society, that plays the greatest role in technology transfer.Founded in 1949, the Fraunhofer Society is now Europe's largest organisation for applied technology, and has 59 institutes employing 12, 000 people. It Continues to grow. Last year, it swallowed up the Heinrich Hertz Institute for Communication Technology in Berlin. Today, there are even Fraunhofers in the US and Asia.31、What factor can be attributed to German prosperity?A.Technology transfer.B.Good management.C.Hard work.D.Fierce competition.32、 Which of the following is NOT true of traditional university research____?A.It is free.B.It is profit-driven.C.It is widely availableD.It is curiosity-driven.33、 The Fraunhofer Society is the largest organisation for applied technology in____AC.EuropeD.Africa34、 When was the Fraunhofer Society founded____?A.In 1940.st year.C.After the unification.D.In 1949.35、The word "expertise" in line 3 could be best replaced by____A."experts"B."scientists"C."scholars"D."special knowledge"根据材料,回答36-41问题。

How We Form First Impression1. We all have first impression Of someone we just met. But why? Why do we form an opinion about someone without really knowing anything about him or her aside perhaps from a few remarks or readily observable traits.2. The answer is related to how your brain allows you to be aware of the world. Your brain is so sensitive in picking up facial traits, even very minor difference in how a person's eyes, ears, nose, or mouth are placed in relation to each other makes you see him or her as difference. In fact, your brain continuously process incoming sensory information the sights and sounds of your world. These incoming "signals" are compared against a host of "memories" stored in the brain areas called the cortex system to determine what these new signals "mean".3. If you see someone you know and like at school, your brain says "familiar and safe. " If you see someone new, it says, "new-potentially, threatening". Then your brain starts to match features of this stranger with other " known" memories. The height, weight, dress, ethnicity, gestures, and tone of voice are all matched up. The more unfamiliar the characteristics, the more your brain may say, "his is new. I don't like this person". Or else, "I'm intrigued" . Or your brain may perceive a new face but familiar clothes, ethnicity, gestures-like your other friends; so your brain says: "I like this person" . But these preliminary "impressions" can be dead wrong.4. When we stereotype people, we use a less mature form of thinking ( not unlike the immature thinking of a very young child) that makes simplistic and categorical impressions of others. Rather than learn about the depth and breadth of people -- their history, interest, values, strengths, and true character -- we categorize them as jocks, geeks, or freaks.5. However, if we resist initial stereotypical impressions, we have a chance to be aware of what a person is truly like. If we spend time with a person, hear about his or her life, hopes, dreams, and become aware of the person’s character, we use a different, more ma ture style of thinking -- and the most complex areas of our cortex, which allow us to be human23、Paragraph 2 ____A.Ways of Departure from Immalure and Simplistic Impressionsment on First ImpressionC.Illustration of First Impressionparing Incoming Sensory Information Against MemoriesE.Threatening Aspect of First ImpressionsF.Differences Among Jocks,Geeks and FreaksComing Soon to a Theater Near You!What are special effects? Do you enjoy movies that use a lot of special effects? Dinosaurs (恐龙) from the distant past! Space battles from the distant future! There has been a revolution in special effects, and it has transformed the movies we see.The revolution began in the mid-1970s with George Lucas's Star Wars, a film that stunned (使震惊) audiences. That revolution continues to the present, with dramatic changes in special-effects technology. The company behind these changes is Lucas's Industrial Light & Magic (ILM). And the man behind the company is Dennis Muren, who has worked with Lucas since Star Wars.Muren's interest in special effects began very early. At the age of 6, he was photographing toy dinosaurs and spaceships. At 10, he had an 8-millimeter movie camera and was making these things move through stop-motion. Stop-motion is a process in which objects are shot with a camera, moved slightly, shot again, and so on. When the shots are put together, the objects appear to move.Talk to Muren and you'll understand what ILM is all about: taking on new challenges. By 1989, Muren decided he had pushed the old technology as far as it would go. He saw computer graphics (图像) (CG) technology as the wave of the future and took a year off to master it.With CG technology, images can be scanned into a computer for processmg, and many separate shots can be combined into a single image. CG technology has now reached the point, Muren says, where special effects can be used to do just about anything so that movies can tell stories better than ever before. The huge success of Jurassic Park and its sequel (续集), the Lost World, the stars of which were computer-generated dinosaurs, suggests that this may very well be true.24、Paragraph 3____A.Ways of Departure from Immalure and Simplistic Impressionsment on First ImpressionC.Illustration of First Impressionparing Incoming Sensory Information Against MemoriesE.Threatening Aspect of First ImpressionsF.Differences Among Jocks,Geeks and Freaks25、Paragraph 4____A.Ways of Departure from Immalure and Simplistic Impressionsment on First ImpressionC.Illustration of First Impressionparing Incoming Sensory Information Against MemoriesE.Threatening Aspect of First ImpressionsF.Differences Among Jocks,Geeks and Freaks26、Paragraph 5____A.Ways of Departure from Immalure and Simplistic Impressionsment on First ImpressionC.Illustration of First Impressionparing Incoming Sensory Information Against MemoriesE.Threatening Aspect of First ImpressionsF.Differences Among Jocks,Geeks and Freaks27、At the age of 10, Muren was able to use computer graphics technology to make things move.A.RightB.WrongC.Not mentioned28、 By the stop-motion process, many separate shots can be combined into a single image.A.RightB.WrongC.Not mentioned29、 Muren feels that with CG technology, special effects can be used to make movies more expressive.A.RightB.WrongC.Not mentioned30、 Today's film makers emphasize special effects at the expense of the story.A.RightB.WrongC.Not mentioned。
