Nowadays, food safety has attracted increasing attention because of its importance. A series of food safety accidents is warning us that we are under the threat of food security everyday.

There are various reasons why food safety is in such an awkward situation. Firstly, the government should be responsible for this. Their not taking enough attention leads to that food quality is not up to standard. Secondly, some people always take more eyes on the price but not the quality, which contributes to the situation. Besides, in order to earn more money, manufacturers ignore what the unqualified food to people safety effect.

In my eyes, food safety is an important issue involving the public health. The government should take more attention on the food safety, and perfect the punishment system. For most of people, they should raise an awareness of the importance of food quality, which related to their health.
