Darkglass B7K Bass Preamp Pedal

Darkglass B7K Bass Preamp Pedal

Darkglass SuiteDownload the free Darkglass Suite software from /suite to configure the pedal, load new impulses and download firmware updates.Darkglass Suite comes with a selection of cabinet IRs made by some of our artists. It also allows you to load your own IRs in WAV and AIFF formats and organize your IR files. See the online manual of Darkglass Suite for more information. DisclaimerIn the interest of continuous improvement, specifications are subject to change without notice. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at The manufacturer claims that the above product fulfills the requirements as set by EN55013, EN55020, EN60555-2, EN60555-3, RoHS, WEEE.Alpha·Omega Ultra Analog tone, digital precision. The Alpha·Omega Ultra is the most versatile bass preamplifier we’ve designed: with its two distinct distortion circuits (Alpha and Omega), extremely high dynamic range, six-band active graphic EQ, dedicated headphone output and balanced direct output with switchable digital impulse-response cabinet emulation make for an incredibly complete tool for the modern bass player.WarningThe Alpha·Omega Ultra has a current draw of 110mA. Only use a regulated 9V DC adapter with a center-negative plug. Due to ecological reasons it does not accept batteries. Unregulated power supplies and/or higher voltages may result in suboptimal noise performance and even damage your unit, voiding the warranty.WarrantyTo activate the warranty, we encourage you to register your product on: and enter the serial number on the back of your pedal.************************************************** shipping a product to us.ControlsBlend: Mixes the clean and processed signals. The clean signal remains at unity gain while the volume of the overdriven signal is set by the Level knob, allowing for fine mix tuning.Level: Sets the volume of the overdriven signal.Drive: Sets the amount of gain in the overdriven signal. Bite: Boosts High Mids (2.8kHz) for additional presence and definition.Growl: Shelving Bass Boost for a fatter tone and increased low end saturation.Mod: Selects or mixes between the two distinct distortion circuits: Alpha is punchy, tight with a lot of definition, whereas Omega is simply brutal and raw. On the Darkglass Suite (see below) you can assign footswitch control of the Mod to toggle between Alpha and Omega.Master: Whereas the Level knob control the output of the overdrive section the Master volume adjusts the overall volume of the unit. Ideal for fine tuning the output on clean mode. It also serves as a DI and headphone volume control. Please note that volume is not affected by this control when the pedal is on bypass.Bass: Low shelf +-12dB @ 80 HzMid bands: +-10dB @ 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1.5 kHz, 3 kHz Treble: High shelf +-12dB @ 5 kHzDirect Ouput: Balanced XLR output for connecting the pedal to a microphone preamp, PA system etc.Ground lift: Disconnects the signal ground on the Direct Output to break any ground loops. Set this switch to either position that has less noise. The switch does not affect the ¼” output.Cab Sim: Toggle the cabinet simulation on/off on the Direct Output. This switch completely bypasses all digital circuits and allows you to get a zero latency signal when needed. Headphones: Alpha·Omega Ultra has an internal stereo headphone amplifier capable of driving a minimum load of 16 ohms from the 3.5mm stereo jack. Use the Master volume control to adjust the level.WARNING: When the pedal is on bypass the master volume does not affect the headphone volume. In this case the total volume is adjustable in Darkglass Suite. With sensitive headphones the bypass volume can be very loud if not adjusted.USB: A Micro USB B connector allows you to connect the pedal to PC/Mac to load cabinet simulation impulse responses to the pedal and control various other settings.Technical SpecificationsSingle user loadable cabinet simulation impulse response · 48 kHz, 16 bit internal processing· 1.6 ms latency· 88dB signal to noise ratioMicro-USB B port to connect to PC/Mac to load cabinet simulation IR3.5mm headphone output with cabinet simulation:· 16 ohm minimum load,· 50mW output power at 16 ohms,· 30mW output power at 32 ohmsBalanced XLR output with switchable cabinet simulation and switchable ground liftInput impedance: 1M ohmOutput impedance: 1k ohmPower supply: 9V DC center negativeDC current consumption 110 mADimensionsWidth 125 mm (4.92 in)Height 96 mm (3.77 in)Depth 57 mm (2.24 in) Weight 430 g (0.94 lb)EMC / EMIThis equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B Digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC rules.

Each stimulation level begins with a vibration and is followed by the stimulation.- Set the dial to “T” to test the No Bark Collar. See Testing the YS600 on page 9 to check if your unit is working properly.NOTICEWhen first using the YS600 No Bark Collar, it is recommended to start at the lowest stimulation intensity level. If your dog continues to bark, gradually increase the stimulation intensity level. Closely monitor you dog’s reaction to find the rightstimulation level for you dog.7The LED IndicatorThe LED indicator will flash for 1 second when the YS600has been turned on, and every 4 seconds afterwards. If your dog does not bark for over 30 seconds, the LED indicator will turn off and the YS600 will go into a sleep mode to conserve battery life. It will reactivate when your dog barks and a vibration/correction needs to be made. Before going into Sleep mode, the LED light flashes green when the battery is fully charged and turns to amber when the battery life is getting low. When the LED indicator emits a blinking red light, the battery needs to be recharged.Operating Modes1. Non-Stimulating High Performance Pager (P)- The YS600 will vibrate twice when your dog barks. It will not send a stimulation when set to “P”.2. Stimulation Intensity Levels (1-10)- The YS600 will vibrate once followed by stimulation when your dog barks.* There is a 15 second delay between stimulation on levels1-10 and vibration on P mode. The Persistent Bark IndicatorThe Persistent Bark Indicator activates when the unit isturned off and when there has been excessive barking.1. Without excessive barking:– The LED will glow red for 2 seconds when the unit isturned off.2. With excessive barking:– The LED will blink green for 10 seconds when the unit isturned off.– Excessive barking may indicate that the stimulationintensity level is set too low.* Before increasing the stimulation intensity level, check to see that the collar has a proper fit and both contact points aretouching your dog’s neck.89T esting the YS6001. Turn the dial to “T”. The LED indicator will blink once every 4 seconds.2. Use the cap end of a ballpoint pen and scratch between the contact points. The unit is working properly when it vibrates twice.* The sensor is set to high sensitivity on test mode to activate more easily. The test mode will only produce a non-stimulating vibration.10Charging the Battery1. Open the rubber plug on the YS600 and connect the charger to the battery charging receptacle as shown in the picture.2. Plug the charger into an electrical power outlet (110V).3. While the battery is recharging, the LED will stay on red. The LED light will become green when the battery is completely recharged (the battery is fully charged after 2 hours). Note: Only use Dogtra approved Lithium Polymer Battery chargers designed for the YS600. Non-Dogtra chargers couldpotentially damage the unit.Collar FittingIt is important to have a proper fit. A loose fit will provide an inconsistent stimulation and the unit will move around on your dog’s neck, which may cause irritation. With a proper fit, you should be able to fit a finger or two snugly between the contact points and your dog’s skin. The unit should stay in place and notbe able to slide around your dog’s neck.* CautionRemove all other collars when using the No Bark Collar. Additional collars or buckles that rub against the No Bark Collarmay inadvertently activate the unit.11Troubleshooting Guide1. My dog is not reacting to the collar.- Make sure the receiver/collar is turned on.- Be sure the strap is on the dog tight enough so that bothcontact points are touching the dog’s skin.- The contact points may be too short for your dog’s thick orlong coat. To place an order for longer contact points, pleasecontact Dogtra or a Dogtra dealer. If you are already usinglonger contact points, you may need to trim the hair on thedog’s neck, so that both contact points are touching the dog’s skin.- The intensity level may be too low for your dog. Increase thestimulation until your dog responds.2. My YS600 is not holding a charge.- The charging pin may be damaged. A metal pin inside thecharging port should stand straight up and firm in the center. If the pin is wobbly, broken or missing, you will need to send theunit in to the repairs department.- The charging port must be clean prior to charging, clean outany dirt with a cotton swab and some rubbing alcohol. If yourdog was in salt-water, be sure to rinse the receiver and charging port with clean water.- For Dogtra units over two years old from the purchasedate, the batteries may need to be replaced. You can replacethem yourself by contacting Dogtra for a replacementbattery. Damages incurred to the unit due to improper batteryinstallations are not covered under the warranty. Dogtrastrongly recommends sending the unit in for inspection.123. My dog has skin irritation.- This may be due to an improper fit or from wearing the unit too long. If your dog exhibits signs of skin irritation, consult with a veterinarian. Fig. 1: MessprinzipFig. 2: Laufzeitmessung mit dem OszilloskopUE406010 3B SCIENTIFIC® PHYSICS EXPERIMENT3B Scientific GmbH, Rudorffweg 8, 21031 Hamburg, Deutschland, © Copyright 2008 3B Scientific GmbHGERÄTELISTE1 Lichtgeschwindigkeits-Messgerät U8476460 1 Analog-Oszilloskop, 2x150 MHz U11177 1 Optische Bank U, 600 mmU17151 2Optikreiter U, 75 mmU17160 1 Stativfuß, 3-Bein U13271 1 Stativstange, 1500 mm U15005 1 Universalmuffe U13255 1 Taschenbandmaß, 2 mU10073AUFBAU• Optische Bank auf einem Tisch waagerecht ausrichten.

65amps Empire Guitar Amplifier

Empire Guitar Amplifier Congratulations on your purchase of the new Empire! The Empire is the culmination, thus far, of all the desires and knowledge that 65amps has collected. Since the inception of 65amps, Peter and Dan have fantasized about an amp that is hyper-functional and delivers PROPER classic British tones; not just a good imitation. The Empire represents over four years of attention and ultra-detailed research into the subtleties of several eras of EL34 based Brit-ish amps ranging from the mid-sixties up through the ‘90s. Taking the best from each, 65amps has put together the Empire, which can deliver three distinct, useful and rich British tones that you will instantly recognize and have dreamt about.***READ BEFORE USING AMP FOR THE FIRST TIME***CAUTION - FOR U.S. OPERATION, SET AC VOLTAGE SELECTOR FOR 120 VOLTS ONLY!Tubes:The Empire tube compliment consists of 2 6V6s and a 12AX7 preamp. Peter, Dan and crew have success-fully pulled off the hat-trick of making 6V6s sound exactly like vintage EL34s. Peter and Dan have been pursuing this effect since the late ‘80s when they used to mod small old American amps to sound like big British amps. With over 20 years of pursuit, they have found the exact formula! For decades guitar players about having all those classic British sounds at their fingertips at volumes that meet modern re-quirements.Channels:The Empire is as versatile as it is toneful. It’s set upto offer you three of our favorite voice configura-tions that you can choose from using a foot pedal or the select switch. The first voice is derived from that cleaner early ’60s Townsend-like tone; the secondis from the classic, fat and dirty ’68-’72 era; and the third is a higher-gain, hot-rodded ’80s tone.ON/Standby - Best to turn the POWER switch on first before the Standby and wait about 10 seconds before turning Standby on. This will prolong tube life. When turning the amp off, turn POWER switch off first. This allows the power to drain out of the amp circuit. Y ou can turn off the Standby switch later before turning the amp back on.Tone controls:Bass, Mid and Treble tone controls for each channel are passive cut-style. We recommend starting at “10” and backing off. With brighter single-coil guitars, the mid’s will focus really well with the TONE set back around “5 to 8”. A presence control Boosts the upper frequencies above the normal treble control range for added high-end.Master VoltageOur master voltage emulates the tonal response of a big amp only at low volumes. The “Master Volt-age”™ knob reduces the B+ voltage and output in the amp in a unique way that keeps the internal tube relationships perfect while keeping the filament volt-age up. After seeing all other power schemes’ short-comings, we’ve come at this from a different angle and we’re very pleased with the results. Y ou can dial this amp down to 3 watts output WITHOUT losing tone, feel, vocabulary, authority, etc.Bump ControlThe Bump™ control is a much more effective alter-native to traditional channel switching. The Bump™ allows the user gain-up and re-slope the amp’s tone stack allowing much more midrange to flow through the circuit; thereby gaining up the entire amp natu-rally and not inducing false preamp gain that creates fizz and buzz. The end result is the effect of havingtwo amps in one.CHANNEL FTSW - This is allows you to change channels.SPEAKER OUTPUTS - Two speaker outputs in parallel.IMPEDANCE - All 65 212-Combos and Extension Cabinets are wired for 16-ohms (two 8-ohm speak-ers in series). If using two 16-ohm cabinets, set IMPEDANCE to 8-ohms. Always be sure to match the impedance of this amplifier with the impedance of the speaker cabinet you are using.H.T. (High Tension) FUSE - (500mA Slo-Blo) This fuse is in line with the DC voltage in the amp. When the H.T. FUSE blows, it is typically a sign of a bad power tube.A.C. FUSE - (2A/250V Slo Blo) This fuse is connect-ed to the AC primary side of the Power Transformer. CAUTION - Never use a fuse with a higher amper-age rating.Specifications:Output: 22 WattsTubes: Power – 2 6V6s, Preamp - 12AX7Panel controls: On, Off, Standby, Master, Presence, Bass, Mid, Treble, Bump,Select, Volume 1, 2, 3Extrs: Footswitch input jack, dual speaker outs, switch for 8Ω & 16Ω impedanceCabinet: Finger-jointed Baltic birchDimensions: Head: 25” L x 9” D x 11” H / 26.4 lbs.Weight in box: Head: 35 lbs.Accessories: Footswitch includedPair with cabinet:Speakers: 4x12’ 2 x Celestion G12H30 plus 2 x Celestion AlNiCo Blues or Golds;or 2x12’ Celestion G12H30 + AlNiCo blue (our recommend-ed configuration) orCelestion G12H30 + AlNiCo gold IMPORTANT: We recommend a qualified technician for retubing. All tubes use the same size socket, but have very different wiring configurations and volt-ages. Placing the wrong tube in the wrong socket can cause damageto the amplifier and tube.PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING WARNINGS AND USER ADVICE!• Always make sure the AC Voltage Selector is set for the proper voltage (120 volts in the U.S.) before turn-ing on the amplifier!• Always make sure the amplifier is grounded!(3-prong connector - no ground lifts).• Use only a high quality grounded 3-prong AC power cable with this unit. Always look for breaks or exposed wire and replace if defective.• Never remove the chassis from the cabinet! The amplifier will store high voltages long after the amp has been turned off and disconnected from the AC. Changing tubes does not require any internal adjust-ments. Refer all service to a qualified technician.• Do not expose to excessive humidity, direct sun-light or extreme high or low temperatures. Be certain there is adequate ventilation around the amplifier. Never expose to liquids or excessive dust.More info at 。

I n s t r u c t i o n s f o r u s e65P H Q
