英语学习在小学阶段是培养学生基础英语能力,为日后进一步学习提供基础的语言素材和学术能力。
本课主要是通过看图片,学习描述人物外貌的基本英语表达,并通过教学活动提高学生的口语表达能力。
二、教学目标1.语言目标:学生能够熟练运用形容词表述人物外貌2.情感目标:培养学生对英语学习的积极态度,懂得通过学习提高自己的语言能力和文化素养3.学习策略:通过图片描述搭桥,引导学生积极思考探究词汇和语言知识,并运用自学能力三、教学重点难点1.教学重点:学生能够准确地描述人物的外貌特征2.教学难点:通过图片描述学生的口语表达能力。
四、教学方法和过程1. 教学方法本节课采用任务型教学方法,以任务为目标,以学生为主体,通过图片看、听、说、做的形式让学生自主体验和探究英语知识和语言规则,形成以学生为中心的学习模式。
2. 教学过程(1) Warming up利用PPT展示几张描述人物外貌的图片,带领学生讨论相应的英文形容词,唤起学生思考并温习课前所学的形容词。
(2) Pre-listening通过PPT向学生展示一个带有人物外貌特征介绍的海报,提问:“What can you see in the picture?”引导学生与小组内或伙伴之间进行讨论,列举所发现的特征和词语,为后面的听力练习做好准备。
(3) Listening让学生做小组或伙伴对,听录音并记录人物外貌特征,再与同桌共同讨论,加深对形容词的理解和记忆。
(4) Post-listening教师复述刚才的听力内容,并呈现关键词汇和表达方式,让学生加深对词汇的理解和记忆,并通过三人一组的形式相互描述初中的某个老师的特征,展示口语表达能力。
(5) Homework要求学生complete the sentences with the correct word from the photo board. 教师还可以通过发简洁英文短信、或播放英文视频、或听英文广播等途径让学生语言思维贯通。
