英语对话、故事等语篇教学是学生掌握语言文化知识、夯实语言基础、发展语言能力的主要路径。
在小学英语语篇教学中普遍存在重语言学习，轻思维发展的问题。
在新课标背景下，教师应从根本上转变语篇教学的思路，坚持做到为思而教，激活学生的思维，发展学生的思维品质。
教师可以依托问题链、聚焦信息窗、借助任务群，引领学生深入、细致、通透地阅读语篇，促进学生英语思维品质的发展。
关键词：小学英语；语篇教学；思维品质；培养策略《義务教育英语课程标准（2022年版）》（以下简称为新课标）指出：英语课程要培养的学生核心素养包括语言能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力等四个方面。
语篇是呈现语言文化知识的一种重要媒介。
小学英语教材中的对话、歌谣、韵文、故事以及各种课文都属于语篇的范畴。
然而，在小学英语语篇教学过程中，教师普遍比较重视培养学生的语言能力、文化意识和学习能力，对培养学生的思维品质的重视程度不高，导致学生英语学科核心素养发展不全面。
思维是语言的支撑，思维品质作为学生英语核心素养的重要组成部分，与语篇教学之间有着密不可分的联系[1]。
因此，语篇教学应为思而教，激活学生的思维，促进学生英语学科核心素养的全面发展。
问题链即紧扣语篇主题、围绕语篇内容，言简意赅、环环相扣、层层深入的一系列问题，既能够引领学生由浅入深、由表及里地阅读语篇，也能够有的放矢、循序渐进地培养学生的推理能力、逻辑思维等思维品质。
1.依托教材阅读提示中的问题链，培养思维品质教材在呈现语篇内容时，往往会以问题链的形式设计一些阅读提示。
依托这些问题链，能够让学生更加有针对性地阅读语篇，学生的思维也会被问题链中一系列问题激活，学生的思维品质也会在思考、分析、解决问题的过程中得到发展。

教师说出某个特别日子的具体日期或者在该日子能做的事情，请学生猜测该日子的名称。

该活动也可以让学生在小组内完成。
