单元教学设计框架Unit 10 Around my home设计人: 深圳市龙华新区观澜中心小学赵菊红、周惠、吕丽一、学情分析小学四年级的学生通过前三年的学习,已经有了一定的英语基础,对英语学习有较高的积极性,参与课堂活动的热情很高。

但是四年级的学生学习目标不够明确,学习方法和技巧掌握的不够多,需要老师在教学过程中对学生进行引导。

学生此前已学过部分关于地点的单词,如:shop, market等,句型There be…的用法。

因此,在学生的已有认知水平基础上,增加了fruit shop, flower shop等词汇,对话听力、以及篇章的整合等,以丰富学生输入和输出的内容。

二、教材分析本单元的主题为Around my home, 在学习本单元之前,学生在本册书Unit 7 At school中学习了There be句型,而本单元将在对此句型进行复习的基础上进行其一般疑问句Is there/Are there_____? 的教授。

同时本单元的学习也将有利于下一单元Unit 11 Shapes的主要句型:How many ______ are there? There are ________.的学习。

本单元的内容围绕着孩子们的家,通过看地图、互相询问等方式,了解家所在街区以及附近公共场所的信息。

三个课时利用旧句型There be...教授新的单词,进而教授使用一般疑问句Is there.../ Are there...及其回答,最后通过篇章阅读巩固并提升学生的综合运用能力。

本单元是Module 4 The world around us中的第一个单元,学习内容与上一模块Places and activities息息相关,上一模块学习过的There be句型和与地点、位置、活动、功能等相关的语言都能在本单元中复现。

在Miss Fang的课堂上,同学们讨论了各自的居住环境,来自北京的Mary 同学给我们介绍了北京最著名的王府井步行街,从而引起了同学们对不同居住环境的讨论,于是Miss Fang安排同学们对各自居住的社区进行调查,了解现状,找出需要改进的地方。

最后,同学们在讨论后描绘出理想社区的蓝图。

三、教学步骤与建议1、热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision)(1) 课前播放歌谣,复习、巩固学习内容,烘托语言学习气氛。

(2) 快动作(Fast Motion)。

用一张纸盖住要复习的字母或数字卡片。

教师举起卡片,迅速拿走所盖的纸,然后再用纸盖上。

奖励第一个说出这个词的学生。

2、新课导入(Presentation)(1)以对话形式问答20以内的加法算式,把算式What's seven and eight?放在最后,问答完后向学生提问7和8的写法,引出本课的单词,并让学生试着用字母卡片拼组单词,教师纠正学生的发音,并把单词板书在黑板上。

(2)教师继续提问What's seven and ten? 启发学生说出seventeen。

(3)让学生试着用同样的方法提问,使得数为18。

教师注意指导eighteen 的发音。

(4)教师启发学生用其他学过的数字组成得数为17或18的算式。

如:6+11,5+12,7+11,6+12,教师适时给予eleven,twelve的发音指导,并让学生说出得数是11和12的算式。

由于本单元没有特别提出11和12两个数字的认读和拼写,教师应对这两个词给予重点指导。

(5)让学生试着从1数到18。

(6)听录音,看图跟读,认读会话中的文字。

3、趣味操练(Practice)(1)听歌谣,大声跟读并表演。

(2)学生拿出自己的文具,用have,has说句子,向大家介绍自己和小伙伴拥有物品的数量。

一组中的一学生在规定的时间内(如30秒)拍球、踢踺子、跳绳等,另一组中的一学生数数。

两组交换活动任务,最后计总数。

4、课堂评价(Assessment)完成活动手册的内容看图观察同类词的个数,把两个组合的数与总数用线连起来。

评价方法:两人互评和小组评,答对的同学将得到—个花瓣,小组的每位成员的花瓣将为本组赢得一朵花,贴在单元评价表上。

5、补充活动(Add activities)在家数好自己喜欢的书籍、玩具等物品,记下数字,在课上用英语与组内同学交流小组长再向老师汇报交流的情况。
