Phonics:短元音a的教学案例
一、学前分析
短元音a这一课是自然拼读的第一课,从课程安排上具有承上启下的作用。从内容上讲,a作为元音之一,在自然拼读教学中也有着非常重要的启示性。那么,在学这一课的小朋友,基本上已经掌握了26个字母的字母名、字母音以及大小写的正确书写。接下来,我们一起看看如何准备这一课。
二、教学内容
★sound:short vowel a
★words:bat/nap/sad……
★rhyme: Pat the fat cat sat on the mat.
三、教学目标
★让学生掌握字母a的准确发音;
★学会辨别以a为首音的单词,比如:ant/ax/ankle/apple;
★学会对以a为中间音的CVC单词,进行拼读,解码和重新编码;
★掌握与a相关的rhyme;
四、教学重点
★字母a的发音;
★与字母a相关的单词的拼读及拼写;
五、教学难点
★能够对以字母a为中间音的CVC单词进行解码和重新编码;
★能够拼写与字母a相关的单词;
六、教学准备
letter cards、marker、ball、teaching books、dice
七、教学流程
1.Warm up
(1) Greeting
①Good morning, everybody.
②Nice to meet you!
③How are you today?
(2) warm up
sing the alphabet song
2.Review
(1) 26 letters: letter name and letter sound.
(2) word family: ad, at, ag, ap, ack, am……
Students can see the word family cards and read it quickly.
3.Words
(1) lead in
①first step 老师展示五个元音字母
★find letter A and listen to the sound.
★listen and practice, a, a ,a, /æ/, /æ/, /æ/
②second step
★circle letter A and say a, a, a, /æ/, /æ/, /æ/
★listen to the word and repeat.
a, /æ/, ant. a, /æ/, apple.
★practice:
a, a, a, /æ/, /æ/, /æ/, a, /æ/ ant.
a, a, a, /æ/, /æ/, /æ/, a, /æ/ apple.
(2) word practice
①look at the foreigner’s mouth, listen and imitation
②listen to the words and repeat
a, /æ/, apple. a, /æ/, ant.
③Practice:
a, a, a, /æ/,/æ/,/æ/,a,/æ/ apple.
a, a, a, /æ/,/æ/,/æ/,a,/æ/ ant.
……
④Game:
paper, scissors, stone
The winner choose the picture, the looser say the chant
(3) Listening practice
①Listen to the words, follow and repeat.
②Try to pronounce the word, eg:
b, b, b, /b/, /b/, /b/ a, a, a, /æ/, /æ/, /æ/
t, t, t, /t/, /t/, /t/→/b/, /æ/, /t/=bat
③Try to write the words on the board
Teacher say the sound, students say the letter, then teacher write it on the board.

4.Rhyme
Pat the fat cat sat on the mat.
(1) Listen to the rhyme and circle the words with letter a.
(2) Read and pronounce these words:
pat、fat、cat、sat、mat
(3) Read the rhyme with TPR
(4) Make the rhyme for some parts and divide students into some groups, practice the rhyme
(5) simple review: read it together
5.Workbook
Finish the workbook from page 1-2.
6.Homework
(1) Finish the worksheet paper about short a sound.
(2) Read the words about short a sound.
