Your email was forwarded to me as I am the Officer that deals with Wine Chillers. Wine Chillers are a

regulated product under Canada's Energy Efficiency Regulations. The link below will take you to a web page that will describe all the minimum energy performance standards for wine chillers.

Wine chillers use the same energy efficiency report as refrigerators. (template attached) Wine Chillers must also bear an energy efficiency verification mark from a SCC accredited certification body. For a list please visit www.scc.ca .

The Canadian EnerGuide label does not use a dollar amount. It displays the annual Energy Consumption. There are two classes of wine chillers, Type 19 and Type 20. We do not have labelling scales for type 19 at the moment. If you have a type 19 wine chillers, then lust eave the numbers at the start and the end of the scale blank for now. The scale for type 20 is attached.

According to 《Federal trade commision》(R511994 16 CFR part 305),the refrigerator and

freezer

have a range of estimated annual operating cost according to different types, but I did not find

the range

of wine coolers, Would you please tell me is there restriction for wine cooler, if no, what we

should do

when we need to make our energy lable?(the cost range must be contained in energy lable)
